Questions & Answers

How quickly does it work, and can it fit into tight spaces?

It depends on how soft or hard the graphite you're attempting to erase is. When compared to a 4H or 6H pencil, a 4B or 6B pencil will lift off faster. The eraser head is relatively narrow, making it easy to get into small spaces, and you can sharpen or file the eraser to a finer point depending on your needs.

Is it possible to use this without the use of electricity? I don't have aa with me all of the time. , and I'm going to do it right now. Please accept my gratitude. ?

Yes, it is possible to operate it by hand. It accepts AAA but not AA, as they are not included. It does, however, come with a bag containing a large number of refills for the reader. It does, however, work well as a manual precision eraser.

Please tell me the order number for the refill. ?

Is it possible to use colored pencils with this technique?

Yes, colored pencils can be used with this method. It's also very effective.

Selected User Reviews For Battery Operated Pencil Eraser Electric Eraser with 51 Eraser Refills for Graphite Pencil And Color Pencils

It's a little difficult to use
3/5

Although the white eraser refill works well, I found this to be difficult to use. Because I have arthritis in my hands, I discovered that the switch is in an inconvenient location for me. It does not work continuously in that the switch must be pressed constantly in order for it to work, which is difficult for me and inefficient for erasing a larger area. What was even more aggravating was that no matter how lightly I pressed the white eraser refill to the paper, it crept back into the holder. The metal component that holds the refillable part is too slack. I attempted to tighten it, but it was unsuccessful. To keep the eraser refill from falling out of the handle, I wrapped a piece of tissue around it. Since then, I've added a SumoGrip EE3000 to my collection. Instead of wasting your money on the cheaper one, I strongly advise you to purchase this one.

Is it really necessary to have an electric eraser? I'd only recently begun working with colored pencils when I realized I'd made a critical error
5/5

Not only that, but it's all done in black. While I was able to burnish it and work around it, it made me wonder if there was a way to erase colored pencil. I discovered that there was such a thing as an electric eraser after doing some research. I thought the idea was ridiculous at first. Is it really necessary to have an electric eraser? However, after reading the reviews and seeing the low price, I decided to give it a shot. br>br>I'm blown away. While it isn't a miracle worker, it does an excellent job of removing the unwanted mark - or, at the very least, significantly lightening it to make cover easier. Have you ever spent hours working on something only to drop your pencil in the middle of a crucial section? I've done so, and it's fantastic. It's simple to use, emits only a soft humming sound, and comes with a large number of replacement erasers. Take a chance!.

Unless I need to erase something quickly, the eraser works well
4/5

This was purchased for use with my wax-based products. Because I occasionally stray outside the lines, I use colored pencils. Unless I need to erase in a tight spot, this electric, battery-operated eraser performs admirably. The erasers are too big to maneuver, but they do the job for most erasing unless the stroke is too heavy. The fact that the eraser comes with a lot of refills and is light and easy to refill appeals to me. It's a little difficult to get into the battery compartment. I can't compare it to others because I've never used an electric eraser before. However, it is adequate for my needs.

Erasing is a lot of fun
4/5

I haven't had a chance to test it until the batteries are completely dead to see how long it lasts, but it works well for erasing Prisma color pencils, which can be difficult to do with a standard eraser. In addition, it will protect your wrist from wear and tear. It takes a little getting used to because if you are too rough with it, it will jump a little. Your hand will become more stable as you get used to applying the appropriate amount of pressure, and you will be able to erase marks with greater ease. br>br>The best practice is to start softly and gradually increase the pressure as needed. In addition, just like with a pencil, as the eraser tip wears down, you must know what angle to use with the sharpest point. The included erasers are about an inch long, and as they wear down, you can pull out more to expose them. Apart from that, there isn't much else to say. Erasing is a lot of fun.

It's acceptable for minor errors, but not for major ones
3/5

It'll suffice for minor blunders, but it'll never compare to my 60-year-old "Bruning"eraser, which recently died. Bruning Co. , unfortunately, is not one of them. has been out of business for a very long time. You could redesign the chuck on your "Art n Fly machine" to hold the eraser plug in place more tightly.

Very strong and effective at erasing
5/5

I use a pen to create my artwork, but I use a pencil to do a light outline. After the ink had dried, I purchased an eraser to remove the pencil lines. A small amount of ink was also removed by the pencil. I believe that a colored pencil artist who needs to remove some layers of the pencil would benefit from this eraser. The pigment can only be held in the paper for so long before it needs to be removed in order to add more colors. When you layer a lot, this can happen. This pencil would work well for that, as well as erasing only pencil marks. It performs admirably.

Now is the time to purchase it
5/5

Why did it take me so long to purchase one of these? I've been creating art for quite some time now. Let's just say I've been doing this for a long time and have always worked primarily with pencil and graphite; however, for some reason, I've never owned an electric eraser until now. For most issues I've encountered over the years, I've always relied on my trusty kneadable eraser, as well as a gum or white eraser (like the ones used in this electric eraser) for markings that are more difficult to remove. With great control and great results, this battery-operated eraser makes problems less of a problem and can quickly remove unwanted areas. Obviously, I hope I don't have to use it on many mistakes, but I'm glad I'll have it on hand if I do; I'm sure it'll be put to good use in the future to help pull out highlights and add dimension to drawings. I strongly advise you to purchase one of these. So, if you're like me, you'll end up wishing you had one for a long time.

You sacrifice efficiency for cost savings; I was attempting to make my life in book repair a little easier, and it has helped in some ways
3/5

It appears to have a good battery life, and it works fine for most erasing with the exception of the eraser sleeve being a little sloppy. My issue is that the on switch is placed in such a way that it's difficult to press the switch and erase at the same time; this is something I'll make sure to check on my next one.
