I have several different electrical erasers ranging from $15 to $50 that are great value, lightweight, rechargeable, and precise. 00 to 45. 00 USD. This is by far the best; I have painful arthritis in my thumb, and this one has a featherweight button, which is ideal for me. Because the other buttons are so difficult to press due to my hand tremor, precision applications are impossible. I'm a botanical artist, and traditional illustrations require a high level of precision.
My primary motivation for purchasing this eraser was to remove the colored pencil; however, it failed to do so! Removes a small portion of the top, but leaves the rest of the color smudges. Colored pencils were not even penetrated by the smaller tip. Prismacolor and polycromous faber castell pencils, none of which I could remove. Furthermore, it appears to be very cheap and shiny, leaves a lot of rubber mess, and buzzes a lot. My old Sacura is superior in this regard. For professional work, I'll be purchasing Sacura again. If you only need an eraser for graphite pencils, this will suffice, but it will not work with colored pencils.
I don't usually write reviews, but this eraser is absolutely fantastic and deserving of five stars. It includes a large number of large and narrow (for fine detail) erasers, as well as two different sets of collet sizes. br>br>According to the instructions, only a light touch is required. br>br>This eraser is extremely quiet, runs smoothly, and charges quickly. It also comes with a brush to remove the eraser particles, which I initially thought was unnecessary, but I actually enjoy having! Last but not least, the packaging on this little eraser was truly impressive in terms of styling and class when compared to most items. br>br>To the reviewer who gave it one star because it didn't erase colored pencils, I'll leave you with this bit of Internet info: br>br>*Colored pencils do not have a good eraser. Wax-based colored pencils or non-wax-based colored pencils are both available. oil-based or water-based Because most "normal erasers" smear rather than remove the color, most "normal erasers" tend to smear it around.
br>In conclusion, an excellent product that far exceeded my expectations on every level.
For use with colored pencils, I really like this eraser. It's rechargeable, which I think is a big plus, and it keeps its charge for a long time; it also comes with two eraser sizes and a lot of replacements for both. At first, I was concerned that I would struggle to draw a straight line with it, as I had with my childhood's Bizzy Buzz Buzz pen, but no, this tool is a joy to use!.
This was purchased for the purpose of restoring PCB contacts on vintage NES, SNES, and N64 consoles. Cleaning tarnish and old dirt off the cartridge and certain PCB contacts on the motherboards with an eraser is a breeze, and it made the job go much faster and easier. It's great to have something that isn't just a "quick fix," but is also very effective and not a "band-aid" solution.
It works fine, and the button for activating it is very sensitive, though you must be careful not to accidentally press it and erase anything you don't want. I only have a couple of days with the product, so I'll be able to expand on my thoughts later, but for now, everything is fine.
We didn't think we needed it, but my 6-year-old son is quite the artist, so we got it for him because he loves to draw, and now we can't imagine life without it. It's essentially an electric eraser with a toothbrush motor that vibrates. He'll hopefully remember this investment when his work is published or displayed in a museum.
Unlike the previous one, which requires muscle to operate and is powered by batteries, this one's button only requires a light touch to activate. br>I give this little guy 5 out of 5 stars all around. br>br>Thank you.
