It has a chalky appearance. It has a chalky smell to it. br>I didn't try it, but I'm guessing it tastes like chalk. if you're into that sort of thing.

It is pencil thin and comes in tiny pieces that you can't use for anything. br> It's very disappointing that you ruined an event where a group of kids wanted to write nice things to our working heroes on the sidewalks. br>Thank goodness we have a dollar store nearby; I dashed over there and purchased AMAZING CHALK for $1. 00br>A larger box of THICK CHALK that can be used to write with, as well as a box that is twice the size of the complete mess your company sent us. NEVER AGAIN, and warn others that it is a complete waste of money! LOOK AT WHAT I PAID, AND THE DOLLAR STORE HAS A MUCH BETTER PRODUCT FOR MUCH BETTER PRICE!.

Spend your $6 wisely. 00 for this item, which arrived in a lovely package; They were all broken because there was dust everywhere, despite the fact that they were supposed to be "dustless. " I believe the chalk would have arrived in good condition if it had been placed in a more durable container. This is simply my viewpoint.

Amazon is where I buy a lot of my stuff. I frequently read other users' reviews on com, but I almost never leave my own. This item, on the other hand, prompted me to write a review and advise other potential buyers to avoid it. br>br>The chalk arrived in good condition, but even opening the manufacturer's box caused approximately one-third of the chalk to break. Three-quarters of the chalk sticks have broken. When I use this chalk, it breaks almost instantly when it comes into contact with my greenboard surface. I asked my wife to write something on the chalkboard without telling her why, because I thought I was being a little too forceful with it (I am known for exerting a little too much force on inanimate objects on occasion). I didn't want her to have any preconceived notions about the chalk, but it didn't take me long to realize she wouldn't fare any better than I had. She broke two new sticks of chalk and then one of the remaining pieces a second time in her attempt to write her name on the chalkboard, proving that it wasn't me. That's how bad this chalk is. br>br>The sole purpose of this review is to hopefully save others the frustration and wasted money we have experienced while attempting to use this product; if only one person decides to purchase a different product as a result of this review, I will consider my time writing it to have been well spent. br>br>Sherrick br>br>Sherrick br>br>Sherrick.

When the chalk arrived, I was ecstatic. I used two rolls of chalkboard paper to make a large board. The chalk that came with the paper is perfectly adequate. This chalk is not one of them. I'm at a loss as to what to do with 24 sticks, some of which have already been broken. I would not advise anyone who makes their own boards to do so. I was completely let down. Maybe it's because of my great-grandfather. They'll be useful as sidewalk chalk for my niece.

This chalk is not to be purchased. I have a chalkboard and usually use a different brand of chalk, but I wanted to try out some new ones. Every stick of chalk in my first order had been broken in several places. I sent them back and ordered the same thing again, but this time every stick was broken. If broken chalk sticks aren't an issue for you, this could be a good deal. Personally, it irritates me. I'm going to try contacting the manufacturer, as well as Amazon, to see if I can get it taken off the shelves.

We have a large chalkboard where we leave messages for the family, so chalk was required. This chalk performs as expected, does not break easily, and does not have the waxy feel that some dustless chalks do.

One of these things is chalk. Almost all of the chalk was delivered. pulverization! So, if this was truly dustless chalk, it is no longer! Oh well. This has been a valuable lesson.
