It has never happened to me. I've never experienced that problem, but since the pencil is not very expensive new, I strongly suspect that it makes more sense to buy a pack of two new ones or even double it. This is the only brand and type of mechanical pencil I have ever owned. Several years ago, I discovered another brand and type of pencil. My colleagues and I have them near us whenever we work or sit at the table. It is great to have one in each location so I'm not going to have to move mine and then remember where it is. I wish you well and wish you the best. Do yourself a favor and buy multiples!
The idea of trying does not appeal to me. This seems like quite a challenge, but if you're up to it, it could be okay.
Maybe you've got the last remains of an old stick of lead laying around. Start over with a new stick after pulling out the lead. You might be able to fix it with that.
There is no black ink pen, only a small white eraser at the end cap, as other reviewers have stated. Using these pencils since 20 years ago has been a pleasure. If you want to accompany these wonderful pencils with an eraser, I suggest the pentel clic eraser

It's been nearly twenty years since I was first introduced to these pencils. Even though I don't have it anymore, I still have the original. It was mentioned to me a few years back that Pentel discontinued this model and replaced it with a less good version. It took me no time at all to spend $100 on these pencils when I found them on Amazon the other day. As the lead feeds the pencil, the lead feeds the pencil. It is not uncommon for lead dust to be present when lead passes through the point smoothly. Providing you don't overload the pencil with leads, your pencil should always feed smoothly. There is only one issue the eraser is a tiny white one with a band of aluminum It is difficult to remove an eraser without difficulty if you wear the eraser down. If you want to accompany your pencil with an eraser, I highly recommend the Pentel clic eraser. The product is guaranteed to give you years of service for as long as it is not misused.
I have long been a fan of the Pentel mechanical pencils, and have used them extensively. These works well and last a very long time. I usually need to replace them only when one is lost. They do not need to be replaced because they have any sort of breakdown. The only complaint I have is that it would have been nice if they came up with a different way to hold the eraser and advance it, My pencil experience is bleak at this point, and my favorite pencil has been hit with a star reduction.
The mechanical pencils I've been using for years (decades, actually) have served me well. It is a pleasure to work with them. Optimal size is 7 mm since 0 is the most effective parameter. There is a problem with 5 mm because it breaks so easily. These mechanical pencils are used by anyone who is serious about technical work (that requires written notes). This product is made by Pentel. It comes at a very reasonable price.
After forcing him to explain why he had disliked the mechanical pencils I had previously brought home, it turned out they were a bit bulky for his work His liking for this model was evident after he examined a few others. During his recent use at home and school, the P207 with the has been a big hit. To stash away a few of these 7mm leads, I bought a few. The thickness of this one is comparable to the thickness of a standard pencil, and it feels secure. Schoolchildren are described as being thankful for the convenience of not having to sharpen their pencils.
My favorite mechanical pencil is the Pentel P207. It has been my favorite for more than Although they aren't cheap, they are reliable and well worth the money. My Magic Rub Erasers tend to crumble on my tables, but I keep several on hand anyway. The lead is good quality, but the eraser has never held up. You can only use the eraser in the P207 when an emergency arises. - PROS - Be dependable - The product is made well, the cons are - Worth the price even though it is not cheap.
It is as comfortable to use as any previous pencil we have used. One of them stopped working after a week for some reason. The reason for this is unclear. We felt as if the lead wasn't moving, and we didn't know what to do. Because of these reasons, I am only giving it one star in both the overall rating and value for money categories. Buying something that ceases to work after a week doesn't seem to be worth the purchase price.
This is what I bought to make marks on fabric for craft projects. Marking with it is a breeze with its fine point. In addition to mechanical pencils being great, they have one other surprising feature. It only takes me a few times to advance the lead, because it has been held so carefully. There is no better quality than this.
A lot of times, you get an extra eraser, as well. They are sturdy with a diameter of 7mm. the device on hard floor, it will crack the internal led, but otherwise you can use it at home all the time. You can keep them in your pocket calendar and use them in your purse, it is easier to erase pencil notes than ink notes.
