Yes, as long as the chart is placed on a strong magnetic surface and the magnets used are also strong magnets, it should work fine.
Hello, menus are currently available, and calendars are on their way, and should arrive in the next few days for either mint or grey. Thank you very much!
You'll need to order them separately, I believe. I only ordered one chart because they are quite large and I only required one.

It's a simple way for our kids to see what chores they have, which ones they've completed, and how many "points" they've earned. We changed it a little so that instead of "Weekly" chores, we put the dates of the weeks we were tracking in the picture. Because our chores are more daily than anything else, it seemed more logical to put the weeks in with their totals so that we could calculate at the end of the month (or whenever four weeks are up). I also like that there is a place to write the "Reward," and that we can choose how many points the kids need to receive said reward. br>br>My only complaint, and the reason I gave it 4 stars out of 5, is that the chalk markers that came with it aren't very good. They worked well the first time we used them. They were vibrant and not runny at first, but after that, they would run and drip into other boxes, making them look dull. As a result, we settled for regular Expo dry erase markers, which work just as well but aren't quite as exciting. br>br>However, I would eventually recommend this product because it is so difficult to help children keep track of their responsibilities as they grow older, and we are grateful to have found a system that works so far.
The pen is not a magnetic pen, so you can't stick it to the mat/board, and it doesn't come with anything to erase it (which is a plus in other Mat/boards that aren't as nice). This does come with two pens, blue and orange (in my case), and their lid is not magnetic nor does it have an eraser, but a cloth or papers work fine, so that does not make this item any less great. It would just be a commodity to have everything by it and not on a drawer or on top of the fridge, so even though I have to set the pen somewhere else and find something to use to erase things (which isn't going to be much, just the date once a week),.
This chore chart is fantastic! I use it as a combination chore/behavior chart, and it's so easy to customize because it's a blank chart. I also like that I can set the points and reward myself. It's fantastic to have daily and weekly tasks available. The magnet is enormous and adheres to the surface with ease. I've tried a lot of different types, and this is the only one that works for our family. I've shown it to every single one of my acquaintances. Throughout the summer, this has been my most popular purchase - I've made quite a few things!.
Its size is also appealing to me. Because it's nice and big, writing on it is simple. Even my four-year-old son It's big enough for a 7-year-old to write on. They enjoy being able to cross things off their to-do list every day. I purchased extra chalk pens (from a different Amazon seller) because one of the ones that came with the chart quickly stopped working. It was probably abused by one of my sons. This is a fantastic product that I wholeheartedly recommend!.
I had to make a few adjustments to make it work for me, but if I'm being honest, no premade chore chart would have worked for me without them. This one was a fantastic place for me to start. My children are just starting to do chores, and I was going insane trying to make my own chart by hand. This was week one, and my house is clean. It was a team effort. It was nice to see my son check his chore list as soon as he got home from school and get right to work.
It's great that we can make it our own. On the mint chart, there are a few surface scratches. On September 2nd, 2019 (yes, 11 days ago), I received my order. It was only this morning (9/13) that I opened it. Scratches are visible on the mint green chore chart. They aren't deep scratches, but when we run our fingers over them, we can feel them. The scratches can also be seen visually. I'm curious if the scratches will pick up color from the liquid chalk and become smeared. If this is going to happen, I'd rather have a replacement for the cost. We plan to use them for a long time, and the menu we bought is very smooth and free of scratches, though it did sustain some indentations during shipping. This, on the other hand, doesn't bother me. The grey chore chart is also in good condition (no scratches) with the exception of a slightly bent corner that most likely occurred during shipping. Thank you for your cooperation in resolving the mint-green chore chart.
This chore chart will be ideal for my children. It provides them with a visual representation of the tasks that need to be completed as well as what they've accomplished thus far. It has daily as well as weekly responsibilities. You can fill in the blanks with whatever chores you want. I've also added a line for good listening skills and positive attitudes. It also serves as a visual reminder to your children by allowing you to keep track of chore points and write down the reward for completing chores. I didn't think the included markers were very good, but regular expo markers work just fine. It also adheres to the inside of my refrigerator.
However, a new chalk pen is required. My two elementary-aged children will enjoy using the chore chart. It motivates them to complete tasks around the house on a daily and weekly basis, and the rewards can be changed as needed. It also came with two pens, which I really like. It didn't make sense not to send two colors when the chart isn't a blackboard, but one is white and won't show up on the white board.
