Selected User Reviews For Blue Sky 2021-2022 Academic Year Weekly & Monthly Planner, 8.5" x 11", Frosted Flexible Cover, Wirebound, Laurel (131947)
Blue Sky Academic Planners are something I've used for a long time. Despite the fact that I enjoy using technology for the majority of my tasks- I still find that a written planner is more effective at keeping me organized. Although I preferred the Endless Summer design, it appears that it is no longer available- As a result, I needed to find something else that I enjoyed. This time, I chose the design with a simple flower wreath on the front and the word Planner in a soothing blue, which is aesthetically pleasing and has plenty of room for all of my needs. I like the large spaces for writing my daily activities and plans, as well as the fact that the planner is an 8. The planner is 5" x 11" so that each week can be seen in its entirety when it is open. The planner's plastic cover is excellent because it keeps it in good shape for a year of daily use. This is an excellent product, which I enthusiastically endorse!.
So the good news is that the paper is sturdy and of good quality, that it is a good size, and that the decoration is well-done. It's a big hit with my daughter. Overall, I'd give this product a 4 to 5 star rating. if it hadn't been for a single design decision: They designed the spiral coil spine in a unique way, almost for show. Rather than spiraling up the spine like a traditional spiral book, each loop on this one doubles back on itself, creating a gap where the pages catch or part of the page falls out of its "loop," damaging it. This is made worse by the fact that the book is kept in a bookbag, where the spirals are easily bent, widening the gap. My daughter has already misplaced the back stock cover as well as the plastic cover. and it's only been a month since this book was published. Her other spiral books, which she keeps in her bookbag, haven't had any problems. br>br>To summarize, it is lovely, but it requires a stronger binding (such as a traditional binding) to keep it together. It may not be a problem if it sits open on your desk all the time, but it is not a good choice if you plan to open and close it frequently and carry it with other books.
This planner has a very appealing design. It's easy to use and understand. The boxes are large enough for me to write down or make a single note for each part of my day. I'm a huge fan of having the lines. The added details have a calming effect, making it enjoyable to just look at the planner rather than using it. Each year, I intend to purchase these. br>br>Keep your wits about you - Because this is a calendar for the school year, it begins and ends in June.
I always buy a paper planner to keep up with our five daughters and our busy lives, and I'm picky because I need to quickly switch to a different month for doctors' appointments and such, and this one is fantastic! It's simple to use and looks great. I tuck it into my purse and it's still holding up beautifully!.
I'm going to buy it again next year. This planner has made my life a lot easier. br>The hard plastic protective clear cover on the outside is excellent. br>The size is ideal for my purse, and the printing is legible. br>If Blue Sky could include an inner back cover envelope, it would be ideal. It would be perfect if there was an elastic band to keep the book closed or to mark pages. br>It's reasonably priced, so a few extra dollars to add a couple of things would still be a good deal.
First and foremost, I adore Blue Sky planners and have owned four of them over the years due to their durability and appeal. Because they are academic planners, I usually have to purchase them around the beginning of the school year in July or August, so I was thrilled to find one this early (April). However, I gave it four stars because the planner's description claims that it comes with a bonus three-month supply of planner pages. These bonus months are simply an extra three pages added to the monthly view (vs. Weekly planner pages begin in July), which is a little misleading because I was hoping for more writing space.
I had the impression that I shouldn't have purchased this particular calendar. It wasn't a year in the full sense of the word. It took place from June 2021 to June 2022. There were far too many pages in which I had no interest. This is the last calendar I'll ever buy. I'd like the following year's calendar to be printed around July so that I can plan ahead for the upcoming events. It would begin in January and run until the end of December.
This Planner has been a letdown for me. Because the pages are so thin, the book is difficult to read. On the back of One Page, there's a notes section. That is insufficient. The planner is cute, but it's made of thin cardboard. This planner is ideal for a child or someone who simply wants to scribble something down. After a few minutes of flipping through the pages, I gave it away.
