Questions & Answers

There are six classes I teach and four quarters each year. Am I going to be able to find enough pages? Can you tell me where you ate 4 quarters?

Approximately 40 weeks were recorded in this record book for an 11 or 12 week marking period. A total of 40 student names are available. Each grade recording page is two facing pages, which makes 72 pages, nearly enough for a year's work.

Can you tell me how high the squares are?

A 1/5 inch

Can you tell me the width of the lines in this book? I want a book with lines that are about 1/4" wide. It was a pleasure working with you. ?

A slightly smaller recording space is also available

Can I get a hardcover copy of this book?

There is no difference in thickness, but it is thicker than other pages in the book. I've had mine for about 2 years, and I use it constantly in and out of my bag, and my bag gets a bit of abuse, but it still holds up well. However, the book is still fully functional despite a little bit of the cover ripping away from the binding.

Selected User Reviews For Class Record Book for 12 Weeks. 40 Names. (R1200)

The design of this book is flawed, so do not purchase it
3/5

With 12 week chapters, 40 student spots, and lots of pages, this book does a good job. It would have been much better if there had been fewer student spaces. The last thing I want is for a teacher to have 40 students in one I find the design of this book very irritating, especially the tab where you put names because the idiot designer put a perforation on it! What motivates you? This is the sort of thing that rips when you turn the page! What the heck do you do if they rip off your names? There is nothing rational about this part of the design. It is Even then, I had to place staples in order to prevent There will be no more purchases of this kind for me. Do not use unless you are in a desperate situation. The perforated name column is available in four different sizes. Allow me a moment to breathe. The most stupid thing I've ever heard. There's no question that the designer did not teach.

It is easy for perforated sections to tear
3/5

Our school switched to twelve-hour days after it switched to ten-hour days The trimesters are five weeks long, so I thought a grade book should be as well. Although the perforations next to the name lists are useful. to deal with two nine-week quarters, they are neither helpful nor necessary for me when I am dealing with twelve weekly classes, especially when the lists begin to tear out before the end of each In order to keep the perforations in place I would tape the front and back of the perforations every eight or nine weeks. In addition, the boxes are so tiny that I usually have to use two lines per student, which means that I would often need to divide the page into more than one These minor annoyances didn't seem like a great deal, but with all the other annoyances in teaching, I didn't want to add more to my grade book. Would be great if they could come out with a 12-inch version This week's grade book has a fold-out cover The 10-page lay-out looks like they have some of it on the website It would be better to use week-sized boxes rather than small ones. My goal this year is to get back to working 10 hours a day Book of grades for the week Perforated name lists can be used as template for perforating the next couple of pages to include the extra weeks.

It's perfect for those of us who are still a little "old school
5/5

" As a teacher, you're aware that this world is becoming increasingly Although I keep an online gradebook, I still like my traditional book to carry around the classroom (and let's face it, it can't be hacked or crashed). As time goes on, the pickings are becoming more thin, but I really need this. As there are over ten weeks per quarter and as there are 40 names, I can slip lines in two of my classes as well. This notebook has an "extra box" at the end of each week that I use to record results for tests On the other five boxes, I write down my homework each day. It's new to me, but it's SO COOL (maybe because I'm a math teacher) to see the space at the top of each quarter's page where you can record the number of students falling into each grade range at the end of the period. It is useful to check if the distribution is normal.

This is a great buy! The book accomplishes what it sets out to do and some more
5/5

For me to hold seven periods of classes during a full school year (we have two semesters /four nine-week grading periods), this is more than enough space. ELAN lesson planning book is also one of my favorites, so I had previously purchased it. These will continue to be sent to me every.

I am very pleased with this product
5/5

It meets my requirements perfectly. There is ample space between each one, and the pieces hold together well. One thing I would like is that they could be sold in packs of 2 so I have enough supplies for a full school year! It's funny!.

My basic grade book should have a thin profile - I currently have a large grade book which is unwieldy and used way too much space to teach only a few classes a Over time, the spiral binding will tear from the cover
4/5

If you're not careful, you will end up with a ripped cover It took me more than a year to finish my previous book without losing any.

You have a good gradebook
4/5

I would recommend this gradebook to anyone. In addition to having plenty of pages for each class, it also has additional pages with supplementary It might be because I've been teaching for 23 years and over (I'm no spring chicken), but the boxes to record grades and attendance are a lot smaller than I expected. Buying it again would still be a good decision.

Very good, but a bit According to the description, the interior of the record book is While delivery was fast, I would have preferred that the book's covers are not bent permanently due to being folded in half
