Last year, I used this planner and loved A change has been made to the format, however. Because they now fit on two pages instead of three, the period blocks have also been reduced to fit on two pages now. Despite that (since I didn't shop around for other planners since I simply reordered this one assuming it was the same) the planner is still a great value. A well-organized system. The chart is not cutesy if you're not into that, but as a teacher I find it is helpful for balancing planning for multiple blocks in my day while taking the whole week into account.
A great planner, if I may say so myself. As you can see, this is one of the only ones that has the subjects at the top and the date vertically on the left. Though it isn't as flashy or beautiful as some of the other planners out there, it serves my needs perfectly. We use it every day in our homeschool, and it has held up well. Using marker or pen, I label my headings, and so far there have not been any problems with them bleeding through. Since the cover is made of a heavier material, my coffee spill on the table will not damage the pages when I throw it in a backpack, or accidentally drop it on the floor you're looking for a simple, no-frills planner, this is the perfect one Buying it again next year is on my to-do list.
I was disappointed when I first received this for the last school year that dates were not already printed, but once I filled in the dates, I realized that I was able to skip weeks like Spring Break completely. Having used this planner for a year now, I realized that I could modify it to meet the constantly changing demands of my position as a Resource/Inclusion teacher. For the new school year, I bought another one and am already preparing it with tabs to help me flip through it more easily. As reported by the academic calendar, I filled out as much as I could, and I'm ready to go for another busy term. In the next year or two I will probably get another one.
There are 8 periods each week, which I find to be a really nice feature. Since it is hard for me to plan for my noire school year, I have given it four stars. It is 2 weeks too short, even if you exclude the winter and spring breaks. If it included another 3 weekly 8 period planning pages, it would get a 5 star rating. The truth is, it does not. As a result, I'm left planning the last two weeks on a stub of notebook paper that I shoved at the back of the.
My main reason for choosing this planner was it listed the days of the week from left to right and its subjects from Another reason I chose this planner was that there were actual pictures of the product so I could see how the pages were laid out. He ripped the cover, taped it up, was dirty, and it fell apart. What kind of person would think shipping this to me was okay? It's brand new! I bought it directly from the manufacturer.
Since my son's 9th grade teacher recommended this planner to all of her students who have organizational issues, he has ordered one each year since. I know it's for teachers, but my son has ordered one each year since he was in 9th grade. In those cases where the assignment can run for several days or even weeks, he has found it very helpful in keeping track of homework assignments. Having made the switch from a struggling student to an honor student, he now belongs to the honor roll! That is true and not exaggerated at all. I think this is one of the best lesson planners out there.
It's impossible to turn a page without all of them clumping together. Although I took out the pages from the book that were unnecessary, it did not resolve the problem. As you may know, I had to purchase a plan book for myself in the first place, so I am irritated at having to do so again now that this one has arrived. There is a very good chance I will have to tear the pages out of the book By making copies of a calendar, I could have done that for free.
