I appreciate the amount of paper in the journal, but wish there were ways to refill the product. It was difficult to use the pen holder with the pen holder loose, but I found a solution. With the box knife, I cut slits in the back of the pen holder by placing a piece of cardboard in the holder and cutting slits in the cardboard with the knife.
