I have a kindergartener who is learning to read right now. A big smile appeared on his face when this arrived. There are no words to describe how much he The cards are both large and durable, which I really like. Foam letters are something I'm not sure about. Although we don't know how long they will last, it is okay as he has plastic letters from other phonic games to use instead.

The fun game we play in our homeschool reinforces what my kids are learning with phonics and gives a break from the "school"/textbook type lesson. Sounding out words is a good use of this tool. The sheets are very solid. A foam block would be more durable if it were made from some other.
