It is essential to use these dividers to organize your notebook, and especially if you are using the larger rings from the Circa notebook system. As well as separating your pages by project or subject, the dividers help prevent them from falling out of your binder. Despite loving both of these systems (and the fact that they are totally interchangeable, my notebooks are mixed between those two) both of them exhibit an unfortunate tendency to show some unused pages at a time. The preventative method of dealing with this is to use dividers and minimize the number of paper sheets I keep in a notebook while using the restorative method, which is to reuse these dividers. It is best to tape edge reinforcers along the left and right edges of the page, then repunch it. You can then stick the page in the notebook, though if you were to do this to every sheet, it would get very bulky along the sides and very expensive. The Arc and Circa systems remain my favorites largely because of the wide range of accessories they offer. Work on projects is a breeze with these notebooks. On 5x8 notecards, I jot down either quotes from books or my own notes. In my notebook, I will punch the short end of each sheet. I might insert a few pages from a book into my notebook, or I may photocopy some pages from a book. As I consider these dividers an essential accessory to my office process, I am thankful for this system and how it makes me more productive.
This set of dividers is one of three sets I ordered. I made 11 discs, letter sized dividers (I made them) that fit neatly into my large, 11 disc planner. Pages of the book stick out beyond the tabs, but not Polyvinyl dividers are made out of a tough material, so I feel confident about their durability. I am also hoping that they are durable, but I just purchased them, and I have not yet used a daily planner on a regular basis. Finally switched to the Arc side and am overwhelmed by how happy I am with my decision. When I inserted them into the planner, they were perfect. Unlike Arc planner covers, they do not overhang the top of the books, but they stick out beyond the pages. It was mentioned that the labels will take ink well and they won't.
This divider helps me stay organized within my ARC notebook and adds a great deal of flexibility to it. The projects are separated better now, so I can keep track of them better. They're made of a nice thick plastic, and there are labels if you want to use them (I didn't). Anyone who uses their arc notebook as often as I do will certainly appreciate this app!.
