You can't write on it because it is made of that kind of plastic that's resistant to writing- You cannot even use a Sharpie for that There will never be a dry spot, as the ink will bead. The labels on my music books became tacky after I ran into problems labeling them neatly. I ended up covering them with tape to protect them, so now they are uncomfortable and messy to store.
The 6 sets I received were full, so a total of 30 dividers for the same price as other sellers who were selling only I like the quality and how sturdy they are. It's great to see colors!.
