Questions & Answers
It should fit fine as long as your sub is flat (no feet), and yes, you can place the sub diagonally on the damper.
Yes. Depending on how the included pieces are arranged, they can be flat (zero degrees), five degrees, or ten degrees.
I'm not sure what model of subwoofer you have. This sub woofer stand, on the other hand, can accommodate any sub woofer that fits on it. I simply measured the dimensions of my speaker and purchased the appropriate size, which is available in a variety of sizes. I began by purchasing two small ones to fit completely under my woofer and eliminate any vibrations that were causing my townhouse neighbor to become irritated. I then doubled my order in order to completely isolate my sub woofer, giving me 4 inches of cushion beneath it. It was probably a little excessive, but it worked perfectly. This also improved the clarity of the sound in my surround sound system in the family room. I hope this has been of assistance. Ken
Yes, in essence. It has the same effect.
Selected User Reviews For Sound Dampening Speaker Riser Foam - Audio Acoustic Noise Isolation Platform Pads Recoil Stabilizer w/ Rubber Base Pad For Studio Monitor, Subwoofer, Loud Speakers - Pyle PSI15 (15 x 15 x 1.8 Inch)
We have to agree with some of the users who mentioned the discrepancies in the item description in their reviews. What you get in the mail is not the same as what was described in the text. Outside of the logo, there isn't an embossed logo tag, but rather the Pyle name printed on a flat white sticker/label and slapped on the corner, which anyone with a basic thermal label printer could do. The differences in the description are as follows: br>br> - br>br>- br>br>- br>br>- br Anti- Is it possible that the rubber base pad will slip? Nope. Nothing like that was incorporated into the design.
- Top is made of thick steel that has been 'CNC' machined. plate? Nope. There isn't anything like that; there aren't any metal materials.
- Weight: 13 lbs? This is nothing like it. On a properly balanced scale used specifically for things like this, this weighed 1 pound and 12 ounces in our experience. br>br>This item is made up of two pieces of foam that have been glued together. The top layer is a denser foam, and the bottom layer is a basic soft foam layer that doesn't appear to be capable of supporting much weight in comparison to the promised 110 pounds. br>br>When compared to a brand like Auralex, this does not appear to be competitive. Because this does not match the Pyle brand's quality or the product's price, we can only conclude that what we received was a counterfeit product, and we will be contacting Pyle about it. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> We now have two of these between all of the people who ordered one this year, with a third one that never arrived and was refunded by Amazon. This listing does not appear to be very appealing. br>br>**Please let us know if you found our review useful by voting it up or down below. "An integrated 'CNC' machined thick steel top plate for sturdy speaker placement" isn't included in the platform. It's essentially a thick, pliable layer of an unknown material. This model does not appear to be as described on Amazon or Pyle's website. I can't see anyone putting their big subwoofer on it. The platform is said to be made of wood on Pyle's website. I'm not sure what the truth is, but Amazon should not be selling this product under false pretenses.
Wouldn't hold up to repeated use. I doubt it could support more than 20 pounds, let alone 100 pounds. This product should be avoided at all costs! I will be returning this item, and I hope that this review will deter others from purchasing it because it is overpriced for such poor quality. If it was $10, I wouldn't keep it. It does not resemble the image used by Amazon or Pyle in any way.
There is no wood that has been carpeted. br>No, no, and no, no, and no, and no, and no 06 lbsbr>br>Rigid foam is less expensive than closed-cell foam. br>Weighs less than a pound. br>br>Forget about customer service; it's useless (zendesk) support from overseas, so the responses are canned. br>Dialing the company's phone number connects you to a Chinese patent firm. Pyle is no longer on my list of vendors. br>br>The Auralex Sub Dude II still has a wood base:

I have an Auralex SubDude as well as a pair of SVS Soundpath damping feet. I own two SVS SB12-based SVS SB12-based SVS SB12-based SVS Polk PSW505 and NSD's I decided to try the Pyle foam platform for the Polk to see if it would reduce the amount of bass resonating throughout the house when I'm working out (the Polk is in my home gym). br>br>When the box arrived, I was disappointed simply because of its weight. I opted for the 22-inch model. 5 x 17. The 8" version of the Pyle was lighter than my smaller 15x15" SubDude, as I could tell by the weight of the box. When I opened the box, I noticed that the platform on top of the foam is NOT wood, but a 1/4" thick piece of fiber, similar to a dense piece of felt; apparently, Pyle cheapened this product by using the fiber as the platform instead of wood, likely to save labor costs, but also to reduce shipping weight and overall material cost. br>br>This fiber is so flimsy that I could see the platform deforming under the weight of my lightweight (45lb) PSW505. By the time I finished working out, the platform's edges were curling upward as the sub compressed the platform's middle. A 100-pound sub would flatten this platform like a pancake, which is less than half of what Pyle claims it can support. br>br>The only reason this product is given three stars instead of one is that it actually works. Not as good as my SubDude, but better than the SVS Soundpath feet (though the SVS Soundpath feet are more attractive than the SubDude or the Pyle). It did help to cut down on the bass that was resonating up from my gym and into the kitchen above. br>br>For a sub under 50 pounds, I'd say this product is worth it if it cost half as much as it does. It's currently of insufficient quality to be recommended for the price. If you want to keep your sub looking nice, spend a little more money and get the Auralex SubDude or SVS Soundpath feet.
In terms of sound isolation, I don't notice any sound transfer to the floor at all. Now. When it comes to sound, WOW. It's made me appreciate my sub in a whole new way. My sub has a much tighter sound, and the bass has a lot more punch. Even at low volumes, the reproduction quality is incredible. I'd give it a higher rating if I had the option. It comes highly recommended!.
