Questions & Answers

The reason why these are better than studio wedge foam is?

The best thing is that there are many different aspects to it There are a number of advantages to using superdense panels, including durability, density, ease of installation, etc. In terms of true acoustic solutions, these With a density of 230kg/m3, it is approximately 8x denser than studio wedge foam, which has a density of 25kg/m3. At most, denser panels absorb sound and cancel noise better than standard panels (40kg/m3)."

In my baby's nursery, I'm looking for a way to soundproof a window. Our home is in a community and loud cars wake her up every morning at 500 a.m. I get up at 30 in the morning. Is it possible for these to ?

It seems as though you have already established that most of the sound comes from your window in response to your query. Whenever you are soundproofing a window, there are three important parts to keep an eye on Here are a couple of guidelines for interpreting it 1. Window frames and the wall are connected by their frames. If the frames are old and expanded and contracted, this might result in cracks where the frames and wall meet the best solution is to use caulk to cover these cracks so that air and sound will not enter The second paragraph covers the next bullet in the list. There is a gap when you close a window where wind and sound can enter the room. Since there is a gap when you close the window, it is not considered air-conditioned. It is possible that noise will enter through the gaps if the rooms are too tight. It is best to fix this issue by installing weatherproofing strips When the gap is closed, you seal it, preventing noises from entering the room when it is closed. 3.1 *br> *br> When you look at the glass of the window In either case, it is either not dense enough or it is dual-headed In order to prevent sound from entering, it is layered to reflect it. The soundproofing properties of the window glass will be lost if it does have no soundproofing properties. DEKIRU's opaqueness could prevent the outside view from being negatively impacted if it is an opaque material and noise can easily enter the room when it is single layered. The DEKIRU system adds density to the window glass, and in doing so it reflects low frequency sounds and noises out while absorbing higher frequency ones. Some walls might not have any soundproofing properties, so you might want to consider adding density to those that face the road, as some might not have been constructed with any soundproofing properties. As mentioned above with the window glass, by adding density to the walls, you are essentially doing exactly the same thing we did with the above. The lower frequencies are reflected and the higher frequencies are absorbed. - It should be attached to either the wall/window flush with each other or covered by the wall/window upon entering the room. Leaving as few gaps as possible So there must be adequate space between to ensure effective soundproofing. *br> *br>Hope this helps for now and we would like to hear more about your situation so that we might be able to assist you further.

Can you tell me what the actual size of these tiles is? My two that look alike fit together perfectly, but I wonder if they can be coupled as well. ?

Neither one is wider than one foot and neither is longer than 1 foot

Would these as an effective way to reduce noise from outside and noise originating behind a wall reduce outside noise effectively?

There is no need to By using these, you can reduce the sound you hear from your room to your neighbors' rooms You will not get any noise from other rooms in

Tiles that work as an acoustic barrier! For a project I had sound-dampening a door to my laundry room, this worked very well
5/5

This thing looks great and when combined with a sound deadening material behind it, this thing produces a lot of sound! When you are walking past it at the same time, it feels like the world has suddenly stopped. Glued hot glue to the back of the paper.

It helps to tame frequencies in a very stylish way
5/5

The first thing I will tell you is that I am reviewing this strictly for use in my home recording studio, and so I cannot say whether this is useful Moreover, I wish to make it clear that these do not act as a soundproofing system. Ceiling tiles such as these are often described as soundproof, but in reality they will help to tame upper and mid-range sound deflections better than soundproofing. There are some mid- and high-frequency components. It sounds good- It is an incredibly technical and very expensive process and if you have the budget, it is best to consult a professional. Thus, I bought them because of their sleek, low-profile design, and because they were white. There are countless studios that are too dark that feel like caves. I wanted my space to be as light as possible so that rather than make me want to fall asleep on the couch, I would feel motivated to create. This is also something I've done at many studios while mixing! On my white ceiling, the white color panels look wonderful. There was a successful completion of the mission. I have employed acoustic panels, rugs, and custom designed bass traps in addition to DEKIRU ceiling tiles to dampen the mids and highs, but I have yet to measure their effectiveness as much as I would like. I think I can safely say, however, that the DEKIRU tiles are helping to create a wonderful sound in my room. My honeycomb shaped panels are sold out? I went to buy more and they are out of stock? This is such a bummer because I love how these look and add style You can use these to treat deflection along with other methods to make a room sound better for mixing. Anyway, if you're looking for them to treat deflection it is great to combine them with other sound treatments! Don't forget to get them!.

I really enjoy it
5/5

The floors in our entire house are tiled, and I'm tired of hearing every bit of what everybody else says, so I decided to do something to reduce the noise. A pack of whites and an additional pack of greys were ordered. At the moment, I am kind of stunned by the changes in my office. Honestly, I would like to think I know a few things about something I just walked into my office and the sound of it was totally different. It is likely I will order more of these little gems in the near future.

Sound is reduced and the design is good, however
5/5

Basically, it's a good item in that the materials are high quality, the product is exactly as advertised, the installation is easy, and the effectiveness appears to be good. It is a blue and grey combo and I've used 3M Scotch MOUNT 15# tape-- I've attached it with the 3M Scotch mount 15# tape. We used 2 strips per panel (top and bottom) to give us the desired result. One roll of tape covered 24 tiles, so 1 roll lasted I would say it is not as effective as the black egg-crate sponge pieces on the wall, but it certainly looks better and is a nice.

Studio quality isn't what it used to be
3/5

Compared to advertised size, it's smaller, thinner, and lighter. Then, add this The dimensions of these prints do not match In total, I measured 14 inches from corner to corner and 12 inches from the side to the side. From edge to edge, the tabletop measures 25 inches. During my measurement, I made sure that I had enough. With a thickness of 9mm and a weight of 152 grams, these are 35 inches (9mm) thick. The black, gray and white ones are on their way to me (I ordered 3 dozen). Gray, white, and black (Go figure) were all delivered in 12-packs, but only 11 Black. As well as these, I ordered 3M Double Sided Adhesive Tape (which is not included in the kit). Please note that the kit does not include The pros are I like the look of this in my home office. *Cons Studio quality isn't what it used to be. Compared to advertised size, it's smaller, thinner, and lighter. I wouldn't call it exactly that. The length of a 4-inch banana. Weigh 152 grams x 12 for a total of 1824 grams, or about 4 times our weight. This week, we weighed in at 021232 pounds. You're talking about $10 there. Priced at 42 cents per pound, this product is 69 cents per pound. Prices at the time of writing were $99 at As a whole How much more of these should I purchase to completely cover the Not at all. It will take some time for me to get an idea of the sound quality since I did not purchase them for a studio. I just installed them.

They are very effective at reducing noise
4/5

Here are 2 examples of 3M command picture hanging strips I put two small ones on each tile, and they worked very well. Although there is still a lot of noise coming down from upstairs into my downstairs office, the product definitely helped reduce noise.

There is no adhesive on the product itself. I purchased it to help reduce noise coming from upstairs into my downstairs office. In spite of the application of this product, this is not likely to serve the purposes of actual soundproofing, or creating a conducive environment for podcast recording, even if the walls were lined with this product. However, how do you reduce the overall amount of energy? I would highly recommend this product. While I wish there were more color choices, I am glad to see that there are. My original order might have been from another vendor with more colors, but I needed these as soon as possible.

It looks pretty, but it is not as effective as some noise canceling headphones
3/5

I think these are very beautiful- In some way, hexagons have come to dominate my life lately, and the clean white pattern on my walls looks fantastic. The Velcro command strips I used to stick these to my walls allow me to easily remove them. It was so nice, I ordered two packs of them, and have used them continuously for at least a month now, none have Streaming is my job so I am always on my PC, my rooms are always hot, and things tend to fall off the walls pretty easily when they are poor quality items/sound panels (I have tried out a few It is not noise canceling at all as MOST people believe foam padding like these to be. Due to the fact that these aren't made of foam, while they are thinner than traditional foam panels, they have still have significantly less air flow/noise flow through them due to While I don't think they can completely muffle every sound you make, I guess they muffle sound at the least while wearing a cute look. post photos and let you know if they ever fall off or unstick, but since I installed them, there have been no problems at all.

The exact result I was hoping for! What a great idea to use Apart from dampening my reverb, I just installed them and they are doing the job well I love the way they look on my wall in the living room
5/5

They have a nice aesthetic because the edges are beveled. The panels were purchased as two sets (brown and navy) and the panels were used as 12 of the 24. Hopefully, I will be able to hang the rest on another wall soon. Command strips are highly recommended for mounting not only will they adhere nicely, but they will allow you to rearrange them quickly and easily on the wall should you decide to choose another pattern or color. My recommendation for these acoustic panels would be highly recommended.
