The past few weeks have been filled with a lot I like quite a bit. We produce a wide variety of material, including monologues, voice overs, pod castings, and narrations. It has been frustrating to hear echos and other cross talk at my desk, because the audio quality is poor. As a bit of a geek and a bit of an engineer, I used what I had in my house to fix the problem. All of my audio station's detritus has been cleaned up and all bolts have been put down. There is carpet in my house, and there is foam in my house. While texture foam is slightly less efficient at eliminating stray sounds, it can always do a better job. However, there was still too much echo and the sound could only be clean to a certain degree. * There was a chance that I could digitally cleanup most files enough, but I knew I could. As I learned the benefits of a good isolation shield, I immediately realized how much better my files would sound. This has helped me make much cleaner and more detailed recordings ever since I started using it. Those sounds are much better, and with a first pass, too. Since I am producing cleaner recordings, and no longer have to fix them in post, I have been saving myself a lot of time in post. It is solidly constructed, with a solid metal spine, and is versatile enough to mount the mic on the floor, or hang it from the ceiling. Due to one bolt in and one hole for a microphone stand, it is extremely adjustable so you can place it where it is most useful. I have also found that I can really stand it up on a desk without it being needed for a straight stand. I will also use a boom with a dedicated mount, and a desktop mic that does not The cost for this would have been $300 or more a few years ago It is easy to get 400. This is an extremely well constructed piece of equipment that does its job exceptionally As for the cost of one, I did not think I could afford to get one for my home studio, and I was not confident the quality would be good for the price. That is true, but it really is. You can make good recordings right away with this device because it sets up quickly and instantly improves the quality. Because of that, it is invaluable.

It's a must have. This professional sound screen is the best. My only complaint is that I wish they made it That one would also be good to me. like how the microphones fit right into the stand. It's like the mic is completely hidden and protected from room sound coming in from behind or on the sides from the microphone. We know u will love this book as much as we do.

Currently, this is my first shield, and I enjoy it very much. The shield is sturdy and is a reasonable price. However, it can slide down from time to time due to the mounting bracket. Besides the arm piece for the microphone stand, I purchased a shielding shield so that my mic could sit centered within it.

The tripod stand doesn't hold my computer well, so I recommend you buy a heavy base stand to support it better. Yet it is made with good craftsmanship and does what it was designed to do.
