The B3n does not have an XLR plug in. In my case, I use it as a effects pedal and plug the B3n into a Sansamp DI so I can use the DI's XLR output.

My favorite combo to date and at a killer price. I did some research for a long time, and the bottom line is this is the unit to get if you begin to play around with effects. And it comes with everything you need, so you can You'll love it!.
Although 70 effects come built-in, the plugin has a lot more to offer. At the same time, there are at least 30 you won't use because they are freaky. I like it it gives me the deep sounds I want, there are two slap tones I like, and my favorite is the 6 or 7 amp and cabinet emulation. The only issue to note is that there hasn't been an update to the firmware or effects since 2017. Even though this is not a professional effect box, the build quality is excellent, it seems solid (except for the power supply) and it has lots of options to find the tone you seek, however, you will spend a lot of time tweaking knobs in order to find that.
