Questions & Answers

Thank you, do you have 220 V EU?

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Unfortunately, we only have the DBX PA2 with 120 V in stock right now.

Is it possible to use this device with a 220 volt power supply? Is the power supply 240 volts?

Power is automatically switched on and off at the venue 360. I've had no issues using the 360 in the United States, the United Kingdom, or the European Union. The PA2, on the other hand, lacks an auto switching power supply and, without a voltage converter, will quickly burn out.

Could you please tell me if this product is made in China or in the United States?

Dbx is a Chinese company that produces everything.

I am very happy with my purchase
5/5

For over ten years, I've been a working performer and sound man. br>br>I could start by saying that if you don't know what Equilization, Crossovers, Compressors, and Limiters are, you shouldn't buy this product; however, I won't because the built-in Wizards allow you to get away with knowing very little about these things and still get great results. However, I strongly advise you to include the RTA- Unless you have something else equivalent, M refer to your purchase with mike. br>br>There are several Wizard programs that will guide you through the process of configuring the DriveRack to recognize your system, set volume levels, and enable auto EQ, among other things. These apps should appeal to even the most seasoned professionals, as they provide a great starting point for ringing out your system and venue. While Pink and White noise generators are available, the Wizards tune the system using frequency sweeps, speaker by speaker and point by point in the room. br>br>The feedback control is quite nice, with 12 filters that can be divided into Fixed (for room characteristics) and Active (for performance characteristics), keeping feedback on a very short leash. br>br>The Driverack has 6 XLR outs for stereo High, Mid, and Low speaker systems OR a single chain for a simple mono system, allowing you to get the most out of your sound system. The RTA Wizard analyzes your system by determining where the reference microphone should be placed based on your configuration. br>br>After you've set up a rough mix with all of the mikes in place, you'll use the Automatic Feedback System (AFS). As you raise your mixer faders, this ingenious little wizard listens to the system. As the AFS kicks in, you can hear the feedback start and then fade away. The fixed filters are set by default, but you can change the allocation of Fixed/Auto filters if you want. br>br>Pros will appreciate the ability to control almost everything on each speaker array, from the Display contrast to the Crossover frequencies. br>br>The only complaint I have is the display size, but even that is unfair because, let's face it, it's a 1U device with limited real estate. There's also a Laptop application that lets you connect to the device via a router, making it much easier to manipulate the controls. br>br>Due to the array of buttons that will bring you to each section's "Home" screen, you will not need to drill down through more than a couple of menu layers, regardless of how you choose to control this device. In conclusion, you get a lot of bang for your buck. br>br>In conclusion, you get a lot of bang for your buck. This is probably overkill for most people with simpler P/A systems, but wouldn't you rather have too much than not enough?.

In a home theater system, a DBX drive rack is used
5/5

a wonder. Adding a dBx drive rack to my home theater system is without a doubt the best idea I've ever had. In reality, anything that is Odyssey or YPao Yamaha or integrated into any receiver or system, for example. In theory, this should result in an ultra-flat room correction (? (However, listening to it is not enjoyable. ) br>How to go about getting incredible results. br>Set the level, distances, and delays in your receiver room equalization. br>Reset the parameters of your receiver's parametric equalization measurements. br>Connect your front speakers to your dbx drive rack. Adding a subwoofer to the front speakers to make them a two-way system. Make the necessary adjustments to the crossover. Start equalization on the DBX drive rack and tweak it manually for a better sound. To achieve the ideal balance, balance the high and low frequencies. You'll get a stunning result. br>As for the surrounds, the center, and so on, you'll get a stunning result. Continue to measure with the dbx microphone while turning off the Left, Right, and Sub. br>The dbx will give you a good idea of how responsive your room is. The receiver's parametric or graphic equalizers can be used to correct these channels. br>Adjust to your preferences. br>That is the most amazing result I have seen in years.

This is fantastic
5/5

It was well worth the money. As a result, there's only a minor learning curve. I have some homemade (nice) PA speakers, as well as some that I purchased, and I recently purchased a TP-100. I needed a LINK 300 to connect to the internet. I had to set the TP-100 using my iPhone. On my computer, I've set up Link as a client. Both the TP- and the TP-C were connected. Connect my phone to the device (via cable) and install the app, and it will automatically find it. I was finally having a good time from there on out. There had been a lot of scratching of heads before that. I really like it. It improves the sound of my other speakers and makes my new speakers sound perfect, and it has a limiter to keep you from blowing a speaker. To set this up, I'm using nice stage microphones. Anyway, I'm not a professional DJ; I'm just doing this for fun (if that's a word). It elevates my setup to a new level. It gives my setup a professional sound and eliminates all guesswork. Here's where I got my refurbished (via Amazon Prime). I saved about $50 over Prime's price, and I've had no issues. To be honest, the iPad and controller were the only items in my setup that I spent more money on than the amps, speakers, and controllers. I either buy used or build (rebuild) the majority of my possessions. I have excellent equipment, but I don't have a $3,000 setup. However, I am confident that the majority of people would not be able to tell. I learned about these devices from another industry pro, and I had to find the right one for my setup, which took a year of saving. It appeals to me greatly. I truly believe in it.

This DBX processor is incredible, and it will put an end to feedback issues
5/5

The automatic feedback suppression is valuable in and of itself. In a massive metal box with a concrete floor, we hold company meetings for 600 people. It is not a good idea to have amplified sound in there. There are a lot of echoes and reflections in this piece. We tried a wireless lav microphone before the DBX and it temporarily deafened the first six rows of the audience. For a year, that experiment was not repeated. Our equipment was then upgraded to have four times the power. br>br> Unless I could come up with a solution, wireless microphones were out. That's what this DBX box is for. We now run two or three wireless lavs at the same time, which was previously impossible. I've seen presenters get within 20 feet of a loudspeaker without squealing, whereas 50 feet used to be an issue. The equalization of the amplifier and loudspeakers is just the cherry on top. It's also great to be able to set everything up with an iPad 75 feet away from the rack.
