A/D and D/A converters with 113 dB dynamic range and 24-bit/96 kHz audiophile resolution.
4 EQ modules (31-band graphic EQ, 10-band parametric EQ, Feedback Destroyer, and 3 Dynamic EQs per stereo channel) can be selected at the same time.
Real-time FFT analyzer with ultra-high resolution 61 bands and an auto EQ function for room and loudspeaker equalization.
Parametric control of graphic EQs is possible with the VPQ (Virtual Paragraphic EQ) option.

Questions & Answers

Will the frequencies be automatically adjusted as a result of this?

Yes, but you must pair it with an omnidirectional microphone (such as the ECM 8000). It is not an easy task.br> There are numerous settings, menus, and options to choose from. It should be simpler if you are a more experienced user. See the user guide for more information. Warm regards!

Are 1/4" aux outs capable of exactly replicating XLR main outputs?

Yes, I have a second amplifier connected to the aux channel.

Is it possible to import calibration files (such as.csv) into this program? (even if it's the ECM8000 mic) to compensate for the frequency response of what you're pairing it with?

That is an excellent question. It doesn't have a USB or SD card slot, so I'm not sure.

What are the advantages of using and storing this?

The Ultracurve Pro DEQ2496 from Behringer is a 24-channel digital signal processor. Equalizer, Analyzer, Feedback Destroyer, and Mastering Processor all work with bit/96kHz audio. It's essentially a rack of powerful EQ, dynamics, and time correction - all in one box. All of them are meant to fix issues and improve sound quality in general.

Excellent value for money and excellent sound quality
4/5

I bought the DEQ2496 to go with my other rack processors, and I'm really enjoying the variety of processing options it offers across a wide range of sampling rates. The RTA (Real-Time Application) is a software application that allows you to create The time Analyzer) function is unique in that it optimizes the unit's frequency response in order to compensate for the interaction of my Rockit active monitors with room acoustics. This is done in the same way that the majority of new surround sound receivers do it now. I've connected the unit to the mixing console in series (DAW-1). based) with a Behringer SX 3040 Sonic Exciter as well as a digital AES/EBU interface. The 31-foot-long slide is also a highlight. The band equalizer function gives you a lot of granular control, which is great for fine-tuning your output response. A full range of digital and analogue metering options are available, with the exception of a display for evaluating stereo or multi-channel audio. There is a noticeable lack of track phase and soundstage live in this game. Instead, the width and depth variables are displayed on a static map. The performance of the AD/DA is surprisingly good. br>br>In general, the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is high. The concept of chain events is similar to that of high-intensity events. end plug- Ozone 5 from Izotopes, for example, are available, but the system lacks any on-demand functionality. Presets for the board, which I believe would be useful. When compared to a plug-and-play solution, programming the unit for specific scenarios can take a long time. When compared to other types of rack processors that include presets as a standard feature, it is comparable. (With the exception of the RTA function, which is extremely fast). The control and programming logic, on the other hand, is straightforward, and the unit performs admirably. I'll admit that the audible results of some of the parameter functions aren't immediately apparent, and I'm still figuring out how to program the signal chain to produce the desired results. The manual is verbose, with a lot of functionality explanations but little in the way of mixing tips and tricks, so expect to be educated. It's proving to be a worthy tool for general mixing and mastering tasks for the price. There is no charge for labor.

For the price, this is an amazing set of audio tools
5/5

I've had it for a while and have been testing and using it mostly in an audiophile stereo setup. Other reviews of this unit (heat issues, etc. ) made me a little skeptical. Behringer, on the other hand, hasn't released a new version in nearly a decade. It appears to work incredibly well for me. I'm using it in a full digital setup with a computer, DAC, and digital DEQ input. An ART DPS II valve mic preamp, as well as other various components, such as a Roland multitrack recorder/mixer, are also input/interconnected. It has a small rack that doesn't take up a lot of room. I've had no problems with heat on mine, despite the fact that it's in a partially enclosed rack stacked with other components. I'm curious if this unit has had a hardware or firmware issue since it was introduced, or if there are manufacturing issues between units, as I don't want to contradict anyone else's experience. I don't use it in a heavy live gig function or anything like that; instead, I use it at home in a small "listening" room for music enjoyment and occasional recording (it's not on the road in a heavy live gig function or anything like that). My music is played through a high-quality speaker system. end t- Tower speakers will be powered by a custom amplifier. When it comes to analyzing and adjusting room acoustics, the DEQ is an excellent tool. This unit would benefit greatly from the addition of a measurement microphone. br>With all of the built-in processors, such as 31 band EQ per channel (graphic EQ), parametric EQ, compressor, expander, and more, you really can't beat the price!br>I also hear no distortion or noise floor introduced in the path (I'm using digital input, but have tried analog inputs with no noticable noise). br>At first, using a layout is a little perplexing, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature. That, as well as the display info graphics, could use an upgrade, but for the price, there isn't much to complain about.

As a low-cost multiband processor, the DEQ 2496 is a good choice
4/5

This unit was purchased as a replacement for a Behringer Ultramizer Pro 2-model. A band dynamics processor with a final limiter was used in a web radio and podcasting studio. This newer model can be configured into a very functional 3-person unit. Optional parametric and graphic EQ, expansion/compression, and stereo width/expansion functions are available in the processing chain, which is similar to the popular TC Electronic Finalizers. If you want to use it this way, the device's instruction manual will be useless, and unlike the now-defunct Ultramizer, there are no processing presets to use as a starting point for adjustments. In fact, you'll be bombarded with screen after screen of nerdy, obscure settings and tweaks to make. br>br>It's a shame Behringer didn't go into detail about recommended settings that would allow this box to do even more amazing things. However, NU9N, a ham radio operator, has created an excellent online setup guide, as well as his 3-part video series. The band processor settings are loud, transparent, and musical (ignoring the narrow band EQ settings that are appropriate for a ham radio station). This is an excellent resource for the DEQ2496 and a great place to start for anyone interested in using the box for dynamics processing. br>br>In our experience, the box offers a significant improvement in sound quality over the box it replaced, is reasonably priced, and is of acceptable construction quality. Behringer receives negative points for failing to provide the customer with the necessary information to properly use the product.

You're not going to be let down
5/5

With all of these features, the DEQ 2496 is a real winner. I bought another for my JBL LSR 308 studio monitors after owning one for a year. br>They create a sonic harmony when they play together. You will not be dissatisfied if you choose this option. br>With all of the features, the DEQ 2496 is a dream come true for audiophiles. br>Room correction is great, but make sure your amp level is low before running the pink noise to avoid sudden loud pink noise. I read a review where someone's speakers were blown up. That is not a good thing, but use common sense and you will be fine. br>I really like the DEQ 2496 ultra curve pro.
