What is the relationship between this and Scarlett 18i8?

Hello Ronald, you exit the S Com plus and enter the Scarlet 18i8's inputs. If you want to compress something that has already been recorded, simply exit the 18i8, enter the SCom Plus, and then exit the SCom Plus and return to the 18i8.

Are you supposed to use every single unbalanced quarter inch in the back?

The XLR is preferable for live use, but the 1/4" connections are useful in the studio. Cheers!

What is the number of available channels?

This excellent unit can be used in either mono or stereo mode. When bouncing tracks, I usually use stereo for mixed cards or tapes, but when bouncing tracks, I group my sends and use each side in mono (be careful). This unit is an excellent compressor, limiter, and de-esser. esser can also be used to create live mixes. Whether or not this advice is useful, it will be beneficial. Cheers!

Is it possible to get phantom power from it?

No, but that's pretty much the only flaw. This is a convenient and simple-to-use tool. use unit. It's reasonably priced, and I use it with my Yamaha mixer and a couple of ART Tube mic amps for phantom power. The sound quality has greatly improved. Cheers

The Go-To Stereo Compressor/Limiter is the com Stereo Compressor/Limiter. In my analog studio, I'm working on a project called "Effect. " Excellent unit at an excellent price, with a User's Manual that was both clear and helpful, which is unusual. br>The unit appears to be in good working order. It's well-made and comes with all of the features you'd expect. br>I've got a four-channel analog radio. set up a track I'd been wanting a compressor/limiter/gate/exciter for a long time, and the Samson Compressor/Limiter quickly became my most essential, most used outboard effect, literally making my home recordings shine. br>I'd been wanting a compressor/limiter/gate/exciter for a long time, and the Samson Compressor/Limiter quickly became my most essential, most used outboard effect. With all of the features in one unit, waiting has paid off. The Samson was an excellent value for money. If they keep it at this low price, I'll buy another. br>I could easily use two units in my studio or when mixing live sound for bands and Praise combos.

It's a fantastic product with no flaws, and it has excellent de-icing capabilities. The best choice for sensible ears due to its essing and limiting capabilities. It's difficult to use, and only trained specialists can get the best results. Samson has a great deal of power. sound fidelity in terms of compression and division asset in terms of frequency of sounds.
