Questions & Answers

Do you have the option to use Can I use a stereo input and a RCA input at the same time?

It looks like you could do it, Dave, but I have not tested it. Plugging into the 1/4" inputs on both sides appears to cut out 3 of the 4. It also includes radio frequency bands 5 and All the output comes from the left side of the mono switch. The level pots are only variable resistors, but the dual-amp output comes from the twin-amp input. A great feature of transformer isolated XLRs is that they are isolated. The preamp gain for your laptop or tablet isn't very high, but for a passive DI, it has a good amount of headroom. My tracks are run on an Android Tablet through a Rolls Mixer into two XLR channels (snake), with the mixer channel gains boosted appropriately and no volume problems. Almost no distortion is noticeable due to the transformer isolation. The signal will boost well (again, headroom is good). It looks like a Radiall, doesn't it? I did not purchase this, but I think it was a great deal. Too, it's all metal and built like a tank. This is a highly recommended book.

It was given to me, but I have no idea what to use it for or how to use it. Would you be able to provide me with more information It was a pleasure working with ?

Using the power cord to connect powered devices is the main reason people use it A venue's front-of-house audio system can be used to integrate stage audio equipment (like a digital piano or DJ setup) We have a mixer at the house. The two channels make it an ideal choice for stereo keyboards (similar to mine). Furthermore, it could also be very useful for a DJ playing at a venue with a sound system of its own. There is a general idea that many audio mixers have microphone inputs, which are equipped with XLR connectors. For instance, this device gives the appearance of a stereo keyboard or DJ system, to the mixer, of a pair of microphones. In order to run a 1/4" or RCA (or 1/8" stereo) cable over balanced XLR cables that transmit weak signals long distances with minimal noise/hum injection from the environment, this unit converts the connectors into balanced XLR connectors. It can also be used for self-recording in the home or as a portable recorder When you connected a grounded audio interface to your computer or mixer and you were getting a buzz/hum, it is most likely caused by a ground loop between the signal source and the computer/mixer.

Would there be any need for a box like this if we were to go in Sound boards can output data to a stereo voice recorder via an output cable. ?

We do not recommend the use of this solution for such a purpose. Using the device, you can convert between unbalanced "line level" equipment (powered devices such as digital pianos, DJ equipment, computer audio outputs) doing so, it reduces the signal level (because line levels are nice and strong signals, while microphones are weak ones. For a solution from a sound board to a voice recorder, the best thing to do is to use a unity-based solution There is a device in a vehicle called an "isolator," such as the Rolls HE18 "Buzz Off."

Is it possible to connect an MP3 player to this via 1/8" stereo and then connect to a single powered speaker using a mono XLR output?

That's not the case, according to my estimate. Stereo is the only type of connection available on an 1/8" jack. A mono will short to ground if its jack is connected to the left 1/4" jack, but its right 1/4" jack is plugged into nothing.

It's perfect for gigging stereo keyboards, especially if you already have a separate monitor setup

A brief description of the RMAA specifications. Despite my love of stereo, I will sue you. In terms of keyboards, I put a lot of time and effort into getting the sound to be as good as possible, and I want to ensure the signal I am transferring to the mixer is of the highest quality. The item does the job perfectly for a low price. I tested it using Rightmark Audio Analyzer (RMAA) and here are the resulting specifications for the 2i2 (I used a Focusrite 3rd gen 2i2 and subtracted A minimum of 20 dB was set for the pad. ** Frequency response from 40 Hz to 15 kHz (in dB) In 2008, there was no rain The noise level was -3 dB (A) in the 03 category. The dynamic range of this receiver is excellent (105 dB. ) The THD was good at 0% for the 6th consecutive time. This is a very good
THD + Noise, dB (A) score It has a 7 Good
IMD + Noise ratio of The audio quality is excellent
Stereo crosstalk is -dB At 10 kHz, IMD 2 is excellent, The graph below shows frequency response from 40Hz to 15KHz, but above it only shows response from a small range. From 20 to 20K, there is a 1dB difference. One review stated that it rolls off at 15 kHz, but this is NOT the case. This interface appears to have the biggest problem its THD+noise rating. It's rated as "good", but that just means "good for audio". You won't be able to tell the difference between it and a direct box, even for live use or recording. This box is the best device if you have separate monitor feeds, or if you're okay with 1/8" or RCA monitor feeds (which, in general, I wouldn't recommend for live use but may be okay for DJ use. 2) If they have "thru" XLR jacks, you would have to send to those and connect to the THRU jacks, but that's not the most convenient cabling method.

As a top-tier company, Rolls does what it's supposed to do In the - 8) and my band needed stereo input from the DI to audition songs on a laptop or a Maybe the old DI was sending unbalanced stereo to the board, but the board didn't output stereo to our DI
5/5

Consequently, we missed out on the right channel, as we only received the left After getting the DI, however, that is no longer true. I feel like it is extremely solid and does exactly what I need it to do. The best part is that it takes 1/8" TRS, so I don't have to break down the signal into 2xTS before I get to Make sure the resulting two input channels are panned fully left and fully right in order to hear the.

With the Swiss Army Knife, you can do almost anything The customer is amazed by the quality of the product
5/5

This box has proven so beneficial to me in so many different ways that it has paid for itself several times over. Stereo mini-jack 1/8" that's what I use An input plug for the consumer I like the fact that the gain is adjustable for each channel and the use of high-quality devices (headphone outputs). There were even two separate audio channels (two separate mono sources) I could use it for. Among the stereo DIs that I know, this is the only one with a stereo mini-jack All three inputs are available in one box plug input, stereo RCA input, and 1/4" stereo input. Robust and well made, it offers excellent value. The quality of the product and the level of customer satisfaction are excellent.

It's awesome to work with Rolls Audio
5/5

was a lifesaver for my project. It is extremely difficult to find a quality DI at this price point. I just had to laugh- There is no way to do it! And then we come to Nothing to be ashamed of - I feel like my precious signal is being ruined by poor-quality active electronics. A ground lift is built into this transformer of good quality! In addition, there are A metal chassis serves as the basis for the entire construction.

The construction is solid and the value is outstanding
5/5

So far, this has been a very good experience. The sound is fantastic (as in, you can't even tell it's there at all). There are many options to choose from. It seems to be a very solid and well-made product. One thing that is missing from this device is a 1/4" Thru for use as an instrument DI, but in Mono, both the left and right channels are also output. It would seem that R XLR outs are capable of passing signal, so maybe you could use the right adapters or use an amp that takes XLR to directly send signals to an amplifier.

I love it! It is awesome to have this DI box
5/5

Several things can be done with it, and the POT style attenuators make it easy to set up just the right levels for any given application. It doesn't seem like EQ is being applied to the audio With this unit, you have the option of using a mono lift and a ground lift. Whenever possible, I use this unit in conjunction with my Zoom H4N in order to record at line-level (without it, the levels are You'll have to set your levels using these knobs if you want to accomplish the same thing, so set the microphone level on the zoom to one before you set the levels on this guy. In addition, I have used this to run sound from a PC to a sound board, and it worked great for that purpose as well. In addition to being extremely well constructed, it is very solid. As far as I am concerned, I could not ask for more from I admit, it was a bit expensive, but a good DI box is expensive even if it is.

All the functions and value that are necessary
5/5

This is a great purchase. Investing in this product has thus far been a great decision. This is what I usually use with my Roland Fantom, and it's great for converting the signal to something a little more "recording volume"-friendly. As well as working with bass guitar, this is great. There are gain knobs for controlling volume. An audio signal can be received through the XLR connector plus 1/4", RCA, and aux. It is also available in Mono and Stereo. It is built with a ground lift. It makes it easier to use your power outlets (avoiding additional charges). My experience is limited to recording studios. I have read that it is used for professional DJ setups as well. This is a great price, built like a tank, has all the connections you would need, and has the simple design you need to connect.
