ES335 was the answer you were looking for? The Gibson should be pretty hummy considering it has humbucking pickups. As a rule, you run a bass through a DI in this way, but not guitars unless you are only using pedals to create Sound is best delivered by a microphone in front of your amp and speaker if you are using the amp and speaker as your source of sound. If you notice a loud hum, compare your amps to another in the same location and see if yours comes out the same. A fluorescent lamp or a neon lamp can emit hum that can be picked up by a bad wire or a problem somewhere inside an amplifier An efficient method for converting a single-phase system into a multiphase system is by using a direct box From an unbalanced line signal that is high impedance to a balanced line signal that is low impedance and can be sent over long distances, cancelling hum picked up in the cable It will be hum after the DI if there was hum before the DI.
The majority of DI boxes convert an unbalanced high-impedance signal to a balanced low-impedance Then you can input unbalanced data into and out of the equation. With the Radial ProD2, two 1/4" TS connectors are taken in and converted into two XLR balanced outputs. Balanced cables are better at rejecting noise and are also better for longer cable runs.
Brandyn, If you plan on using the ProD2 as a sound interface with the MacBook Pro, the ProD2 would be the best option. If you will be using the built-in sound card, you will need something like the StageBug SB-RS. There is no need for an adapter since we use a 5mm connector). Laptops that are equipped with the Pro D2 will work with the built-in card, but you'll need (1/4" to 1/8") adapters to make it work. The best route is always to minimize patch points (minimal patch points are always the best routes). Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with. At Front End Audio, we are happy to help you in any way that It was a pleasure doing business with
As far as the Radial Pro D2 is concerned, I recommend it. Among the DI boxes we sell, this one is the most reliable. In order to use it with the Yamaha S90, you are not going to be able to find one Thanks a lot.

The church mouse is quiet as a mouse in a church As part of a remodeling project, we replaced our acoustic drums with electric drums due to the size of our sanctuary. It just couldn't handle acoustic sound (too small and loud). After we hooked up the electric drums, we encountered a problem in which the drums periodically "clipped" (popped in the speakers) when pumped There did not appear to be a consistent pattern to the events. They kept occurring consistently. A random number. It was necessary to lower the drum kit volume to 3 or less (default is 13) to avoid this. Further, the speakers were filled with this TERRIBLE BUZZ. No matter what volume level you set the drum kit to, the buzz was still there (the same I did some research and determined that the buzzing was caused by a "Ground Loop," so I pulled the drum volume down on the mixing board, but it did not eliminate the buzz altogether, and the other instruments / vocals overpowered the drums after that. This is the first time I have tried this product after reading reviews. The snake is installed between the drum kit and the drum kit. A few moments after I powered on the sound system, I was shocked to hear no sound. There is no buzzing, no hum, and no noise at all. Even though I hadn't turned anything on, the sound didn't seem to be This is the quietest our sound system has ever been, even before we remodeled. When I first headed to my computer, my first thought was "Man, this thing isn't working, I have no Upon stepping toward the box to begin troubleshooting, the thought occurred to me that I should perhaps AT LEAST TESTS the drums before proceeding. Bingo! They worked! There was just something so special about the box. It is God who praises us. Also, this seems to have fixed the Popping / Clipping volume issue that we had previously as I can now put the drums back on their default volume level of 13 without any problems.
The best thing I've ever done On stage, keyboards (either a stereo signal or two separate keyboards) and laptops, iPods, and other music devices are placed in a box. In addition, there is absolutely nothing wrong with using this for any two different sources, including acoustic guitars. I have used it as a part of acoustic acts as well. very convenient for me because I have a four channel XLR snake, and two of those channels get to connect directly to this box, leaving all connections neat and tidy.
Nice packaging, great materials, but for a product like this one, I expected it to just work out of the box. Nothing was useful about it when it arrived. My friend lent me one specific model and after recording we compared the signals with others using a cheaper DBX direct box, and they were almost identical coming out of a noisy Roland D50, both boxes canceled some noise and the rest was cleaned by using As far as the return situation is concerned, I would say Amazon did a great job, probably I was unlucky, but after testing a working unit this was just a legacy package from a great brand, get a cheaper one and spend the difference on good quality cabling here.
This was tested. The Radial ProD2 I am using is my second one. We have no problems with either unit! Having used my first box for over 5 years of active use and frequent travel, I continue to get excited about having sound guys compliment me on quality audio gear every time I pull it out. Whenever I needed an additional stereo digital interface As soon as I saw the second box, I had to get it! It is definitely recommended by Radial Gear and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.
They are installed in a J Rack (sold separately) and are a good size. A DI like this is built like a tank, and there are Our relationship with them has never been an issue as we never have a problem with them. Just today, I purchased a fourth, which we will add to the FOH in the next few days. We use multiple outputs coming from a MOTU 828mk3 rackmount sound card to achieve the various ends and include XLR conversions, as well as to eliminate hum and protect the audio device from accidental phantom power. All of the sound runs through the sound card, so that's where the actual sounds originate (so it's your true source), so we essentially have keyboards, guitars, vocals, and our backing tracks coming from there as well. The tone of someone's voice has never been an issue. I always look forward to rolling up with my own DIs especially when the sound guys at the desk are glad to see us. At a small club, there usually is one or two, if you are lucky. Please note The reviews I read indicated that these were among the best DIs because I have no experience with any other DI. It is not necessary for me to search.
This digital imaging is of the highest quality. No noise at all. There is only one issue, the pad on the bottom of the bag slipped off after being in my car. There are a few things the manufacturer needs to take into account, but it is not a deal breaker as this DI is of top quality. It is cheaper to buy this DI once rather than buying many inexpensive DI's that don't.
It's tough and does its job well. It is pretty expensive, but when this could be the single point of failure during a show, it doesn't make sense to cut corners by buying a cheap DI box.
I found this item to be a little high priced, but when I corded my Roland X6 Fantom into it, I had no humming problems anymore and that is what I bought it to do so I believe it to have been worth the cost.
