Questions & Answers

Is there a switch to turn this on and off?

*br>This DI box does not have an on/off switch as most DI boxes don't have a need for one. The device is powered by phantom power, so turn off your phantom power if you want to turn it off. If you are using a 120 watt tube head speaker, you would need Which is better, the Pro48 Active or the Pro DI? There is phantom power on my audio interface and a dummy load on the line. ?

It is NOT recommended to use the Pro48 or Pro DI with speaker outputs. In this case, the warranty would be voided, as it is not designed for this purpose. Using the balanced out would be unusable if the DI was connected by using 'through', cause the DI may not be damaged, but the balanced out would be damaged. In the scenario, the JDI would be appropriate because it has the appropriate attenuator, and it would be connected to a cab or dummy load as a result of the "through". Rather than using a cab or suitable speaker, you'll need something like a Radial Headload if you don't want to use a cab.

Do I need a passive bass guitar to use this DI?

An active instrument with a high output that would typically overload a standard DI box is what the Pro48 is designed for. Passive Bass Guitars, however, are supposed to be good for it.

Where does it get its power from? How about AC power or DC power?

An XLR cable connected to your audio interface or mixing board must be connected to phantom power of 48 volts.

I am very happy with Just the guts of a J48 without the bells and whistles, as Radial describes it
5/5

That's great durability and great sound at an even better price. People now ask if I'm going to change my headphones. A stage application can be applied to DI. Due to the pad, it can be used with active preamps and line level instruments, so active or passive issues can be avoided. Please read the following To the 1& Reviewers gave this product two stars. Phantom is required for active DIs, and they do not require In that case, it could seem to be a total loss if you don't know what you're A number of crappy cables are also highlighted by Phantom. When the phantom power connection is intermittent, pops and crackles will occur. There is no way that these could ever make it out of the factory with a faulty XLR jack causing a loose connection, which is something I've experienced myself. You're using an old or abused cable, which will need to be replaced based on your description.

The unit I use live is great for DI with an acoustic guitar or other low-frequency instrument - not in the studio (don't have any reason to use it) but in the studio it does not sound as good

It consists of the output. Every audio engineer must own at least one of these pieces of audio equipment. The unit I use live is great for DI with an acoustic guitar or other low-frequency instrument - not in the studio (don't have any reason to use it) but in the studio it does not sound as good. A device for generating output. If I wanted to use this for an active instrument like a keyboard or the line out of a bass amp, I would use the Radial Passive DI box instead. A Radial DI box is great, made from good quality material and built like a tank. When they are on the road, I do not worry about them breaking. Additionally, they sound good enough to be used in a studio in conjunction with some decent preamps.

I think it's a great active dial
5/5

That is a really cool In the thru output, there is a lot of information to be viewed. If you want to split your signal, you can do so. In the audio interface, the audio interface uses the di and the thru to connect to your amplifier. This way you can record both a clean di track and the amp at the same time. There is no hum or buzz with the ground lift either. It's nice that it has a pad for louder pickups with high output, too.

The DI box is of good quality
5/5

Last week, last week, this was used at our church for the very first time. I found it to be functional. Overall, it seems to be of good quality. A bass guitar was used with it, and the tonal quality of it was praised by everyone.

Noise used to be an issue with our single coil players. This bad boy can solve that problem. The quality of the product is determined by the price!.

When it comes to Radial DI Boxes, you cannot go wrong. This is simply amazing. Spend your time on high quality DIs rather than low quality ones.
