Questions & Answers

Do I have the option of going from speaker out to the line level output on an audio interface when I have a speaker amplifier? Does an amp have a line out, so you can record it?

I believe so! All other replies should be ignored. As per the description and the user manual of this product, this amplifier accessory will allow you to directly connect to the speaker terminals. If you do not keep the speaker connected to the amplifier, both the speaker and this DI will be driven at the same time so as not to damage it. As part of reducing the loudness of the UltraDI's signal, I would make sure to attenuate it on the input panel In the manual, it recommends that the ground lift switch be turned on

Playing with a Hot Rod Deluxe into a Strat is what I do. There is a hum in my music that I would like to remove. Can I put this between the all-female team and the all-male team Do you have an analog pedal board and ?

I don't think that's going to work. An Ebtech product called a Hum Eliminator eliminates noise from your audio cables when the ground is lifted from them. Perhaps this can work if a ground loop is involved

Is it possible to use it without a battery?

The phantom switch in a Behringer console is required to use the device, but it won't work without an empty battery connected

Then, can you hook the computer up to the mixer and then hook the mixer up to the computer?

If it is a USB port, then it does not have one. The mixer or DAWS unit you are using with a usb output can be connected to a computer by usb and the output be output to that via

Live work is most likely to be underestimated when it comes to powered DIs
5/5

Live work is most likely to be underestimated when it comes to powered DIs. You don't need a battery that requires a charging source if you have phantom power on your mixing The dual attenuator keeps Blaster the bass player under control and from going overboard You can control the volume on your keyboard. Housing made of canvas and steel. The Behringer D/Is are reliable devices, regardless of what the interwebz "gurus" say. Over many years, they have done a good job, have remained functional, and have done it well at all times. There is no. Their ancestors were NOT countrymen, rurals, or British. Is that so? Their effectiveness is proven. In general, these hangers are very affordable and should hold up your car for a long time if you don't stack them for holding it while you change a flat tire or use them for batting practice.

The same thing can be used for multiple purposes
5/5

In our band, they are used to tame the wild ones Two attenuated XLR outputs one from a bass amp and one from In this case, emulation of 4x12 is appealing to the bass player. 4x12 amplifiers are not used for keyboards and pianos. Our favorite feature is of course that we do not need batteries because we use As well as using it for acoustic guitars, we enjoy using it with it. It didn't occur to me that they would like the 4x12 emulation a lot. have been able to better control the electric guitar as well so that it is not overpowering the recording. There are still times when he overpowers the stage, but that is just a function of discipline. Since the guitar amp doesn't have direct out, he plugs into the DI100, which connects him It's a shame that he lost his effects during the recording, but we get rid of the horrible hum from his amp as well. There is also an option to add FX from the sound board.

The price is also awesome. We have used these for the past few years and they have been reliable. For some professionals, they may want more features, but for us, they are good enough.

I've never had a problem with this
5/5

There are not enough positive things to say about this book. Due to the lack of balanced output on my digital piano, I was outputting audio for direct monitoring with a 1/4 unbalanced cable, but I picked up a lot of noise from my power/monitor cables because I use a desk to run it all. My volume would barely change and the keyboard would still be very quiet no matter how loud I turned it up. *Br/*Br/*It turns out I have balanced inputs on my mixer. The box appealed to me, so I bought it. A cable going to the mixer that plugs into the XLR output is placed directly next to the keyboard to prevent any kind of noise pickup between the two. Phantom power has been turned on. A big bang. Despite being at maximum volume, I hardly hear any hum from my speakers. The ground lift feature caught my attention, and I thought I'd give it a whirl. It needs to be pressed Both at night and during the There was virtually no noise, and the volume was very high. This worked much better than I could have imagined, and though it costs $40, it is perhaps the most worth it.

This is the best bang for the buck I've seen
5/5

Beringer gets a lot of stick because of its "cheap" products, but the DI100 isn't really so cheap as it sounds As an active DI, it delivers the goods at a reasonable cost. At first, I was recording with an ART DualZDirect passive DI, but I noticed a harsh electromagnetic hum on all recordings made through that device. My ART box had hum, so I picked up two DI100s to replace it, and these things have eliminated it completely. *(This is due to the DI100's heavy shielding, which is in part what makes it seem so heavy. ) * br * * br * * br * The battery back makes it seem a little better. . . It's pretty handy to have it up. the recording of one of my songs, I was using a Roland Duo-Sonic A Capture EX audio interface is required. Roland DI100s draws too much current to become usable when I enable Phantom power on my computer, so I can't use them. This was caused by using phantom power on my Roland to power the DI100s. After popping some 9s, I came home and ate a diet coke All was well when I put 5 volts in the DI100s and disabled phantom on the Roland. In the past I have used phantom power on several other interfaces to power the DI100. *) I've also used the attenuation switches a few times, which are helpful if you're trying to bump a line-level signal down to mic-level Ensure that volumes are level. This is a really cool As it happens, the DI100 design is essentially the same as that of the popular BSS AR-100 A 133 DI box costs nearly four times as much as the DI100. Many people have done shootouts involving the DI133. People are unable to tell the difference between the two devices because the icons look the same on both. It is impossible for me to do that.

This is a sturdy and extremely useful piece of equipment
5/5

Professional users may not be able to use all Behringer products. As a matter of fact, most of them appear to cater to the beginning musician who lacks a lot of money and doesn't understand the difference between quality and value in terms of musical equipment. In addition to these, the The 100, for that matter) does not fit into that category, however. It is an essential component of my studio setup it is reliable, dependable, and of great quality. Do you have an unbalanced signal you need to balance? - Stick it in * Are you looking for a way to record guitars or bass directly - Stick it in 100)
Want to run a long instrument cable without putting a lot of hum and noise into it? - Stick it in Have you ever encountered a ground loop that drives you crazy? - Stick it in You need to cool down that signal a little bit before it reaches - Stick it in

Are you sensing a pattern here? A variety of DI boxes can fill many of those needs, but few of them can fill all of them at once. When I have my DI-tools, I can almost always find a use for them I am 100 and I am A total of 100 direct boxes have been purchased, and more will follow Since so many places in the recording studio can utilize them, they are expected to become more and more common as time passes.

The devices have worked perfectly for the last three years even though they haven't been used a lot
5/5

I have had this DI for over three years and it is still in good shape. With its rubber feet, it won't slide around. It is built like a tank, with a very sturdy build. In comparison to its passive brother, it provided a clean signal with no added noise. Since it's active, I didn't need as much gain as it did compared to the passive one. This is a good signal right out of the gate. There is a lot of padding you have, and I particularly like the fact that you have up to 40dB just in case. All in all, it is a great game. This is pretty simple, and there are not many things to say about it. DI just for fun. For $40, it is definitely worth the money. It works well, and that is about all I can ask for.
