Questions & Answers

This recorder actually records data onto the following media Do you have any memory cards or flash drives that I could use? I need something that can record at least six hours. ?

The micro SD card included with it contains 2GB of MP3 320kbps storage. You'll get about 12 hours of playback. We are very pleased with the quality. -If you would like it in WAV format, we're talking about 2.- You can upgrade the card to a larger one for a cheaper price, though. *br> *br>Larger cards are cheap though, so you can buy one.

What if I record my voice and sync it to a video? Can I record a piece to video with the Zoom and then sync it to a ?

It's fine with me. In addition to my Nikon D5300, I use mine as a primary audio recorder. When using Final Cut X, I set up a reference track with the sound from the Zoom as a reference track to be synced with the video. This software is much faster and better in

What are the steps to using the Zoom H1 as a DSLR microphone. Is it possible to press the record button on the zoom h1 and the record button on the dslr we at the same time?

I'd just like to point out a few things about recording to a digital camera It is your camera that determines the sample rate and bitrate for the DSL file. It does not matter what you set on the zoom to determine the bitrate and sample rate recorded on the dslr. (Ex. In Canon cameras, this is 44 khz/16 Audio quality from the zoom is better than the one from your on-line player It is more cost-effective to use a camera mic simply because it has a higher quality microphone, but don't expect to be able to record 96khz/24 bit audio straight into your DSLR. The files are the mov format!

An effective audio solution for wedding video (plugs directly into your We produce wedding videos, corporate videos, and event videos for corporations and organizations
5/5

The products we use are high-quality I have always used high-end equipment for the shooting (GH5 cameras, stabilizers, drones, etc. ), and I have always hired out the audio to local companies to ensure professional recordings Ensure that the audio is of high quality. For the future, we are planning to do audio ourselves, so we had considered purchasing some high-end audio gear (in the $1,000 range), but a friend allowed us to use his Zoom H1 as an evaluation tool. Our testing of the H1 and a few other recorders led us to make the purchase, and we haven't looked back since. This product cannot be overstated in terms of value- for the money, it's amazing you can get such a good deal- The fact that it is so easy In the most recent wedding we shot, we connected my white Zoom H1 camera that we got on amazon for $65 to the wedding DJ's sound system using an A 5mm 1/8" male connector to a 6mm female connector. On Amazon, you can find a 35mm 1/4" Male TRS Stereo Audio Cable for $12. It only took a few minutes once the Zoom was plugged into the sound system to get it working. We just had to turn it on, adjust the volume input, and hit record. We left it all day and it captured audio. Due to the fact that the DJ provided the officiating priest with a lav mic, the audio for the ceremony was sourced While we will only produce a short highlight video of 10 minutes, you will be able to pull the audio from the whole day into Adobe Premiere as needed since you will have access to all of the audio files. The app allowed us to capture some of our pre-production There will be communion and interviews at the ceremony. one of the most powerful- The solution is as simple as a button. Other reviewers noted that it has a plastic appearance and is breakable, but it is not flimsy or delicate. As a result, you should treat it as you would any other professional piece of equipment. It was on par (if not better) than the audio that we paid other companies thousands for in the past. Our team learned these tips to make connecting to a sound system easy Please note Please make sure you contact the DJ or other audio team ahead of time to confirm that they are okay with you connecting to their sound board (good professional hygiene) and that their connection is the standard quarter inch input I referred to Please note If you use the 2 GB card that comes with the camera, you'll need a bigger one. Space is limited don't risk running out. Make sure you don't cut the time too close. The Zoom will show you exactly how much time you have left. There is one that I have that is 32 Gb it works well. With an entire day's worth of audio captured, you'll be able to share your recordings with anyone. Please note You should always have extra batteries with you. Batteries were dead at the end of a long recording day of eight hours. You should always make a backup of your data. A Movo windscreen muff will help you avoid wind damage. When I used it outside in a light breeze, it stopped all sound of the wind. Please note the device regularly and adjust the microphone volume as needed. Most events like weddings will have low speech volumes during the ceremony (when you will need to raise the input volume) and high volumes during the dance or music (where the input volume needs to be lowered almost all the way). You need not worry too much if you are a small video operation with only one or two people and do not have the bandwidth to monitor your Zoom. As long as you keep the input set close to the middle, you will get a fair level of quality audio that can be easily adjusted in postproduction. I'll summarize the things you should buy for you AA backup batteries, a 32GB Micro SDHC card, windscreen muff, and a carrying case for the Zoom H1. It cost me about $125 to buy all this on Amazon. As I wish someone had left a review saying how easy it is to use this way, I know I would be able to do audio projects faster. You have a great chance of winning!.

This sound recorder is a great deal
5/5

For my YouTube videos, this is the audio solution I have been looking for. All in all, it's a great experience There is only one device required You can attach a pocket or belt clip to your belt- A desk microphone and a wired lapel microphone of similar size (to use together), as well as To be able to move freely in my videos without being tied down to the camera, I had tried several wireless mic systems, but the sound quality of any of them in my price range just wasn't up to par. In contrast, the Zoom H1 sounds fantastic and fulfills the same purpose as well as filling those aforementioned extra roles that I had no idea it would fill. I like the fact that there are two included microphones (in stereo). The microphone system offers great fidelity with little noise compared with other microphone systems I've tried - whether wireless or wired - noise has always been a problem for me. It may be that there is a lot of noise and/or hiss, or perhaps there is muffled sound on the high end, which is how the noise is managed. The H1 is an exception to that rule. Even though there is a relative lack of noise, I feel as if it might be a little too bright, but I am pretty confident that a basic windscreen would be able to temper this. Workflow using a separate file for off-line processing Using a camera audio recorder differs from recording through the camera, but Davinci Resolve (even the free version) makes it a snap to sync it up, so if that's keeping you from working with it, don't worry about it. Essentially you'll need to add audio files to the video files in addition to the video files, but you can tell Resolve to sync everything up by waveform (if you recorded audio on camera) and it will compare the audio and video files, and automatically sync and link them. Besides the other apps, one would assume there are others that have similar functions, although some may require manual entry, which would be very helpful if there was a slate. The Sony H1 will typically be attached to my belt with the Sony ECMCS3 lapel mic connected to my shirt. I can move anywhere whenever I like while recording (my camera also manages recording via the smartphone), and I just have to remember to press the record button on both devices. I have to admit that I have become accustomed to this pretty easily. With the H1, the record button is so large that you can just press it by feel, without having to look at the recorder, making it easier to use. The only minor point I would like to make is to point out the overall build quality, construction and design, as well as It is plastic, and it feels yucky and sweaty after the first few days of use without constant cleaning. It is that slippery, smooth plastic that is forever slippery. In addition, the record button, other than the power on button, is tiny and recessed, which helps to prevent accidental pressing, but it is a bit challenging to set up initially, and changing settings whenever necessary is no fun. I have also noticed that the noise appears to be a bit more intense when I change from 16k to 24k sample rates. As a speaker, I don't require 24k because I am just recording my speaking voice, but for someone recording music, 24k may be too much information. There was still a very tiny amount of noise, but I was able to hear it with headphones on with the volume set to a reasonable level in silence. Whether I used the built-in microphone or external mic, the problem persisted, so I am pretty certain that the recorder is causing the problem. My record level was around 75, I had the auto level control off, and I did not have auto level control on. I consider this recorder to be a bargain, even though it costs around $100 (or a lot less for the white one as I type this). At this point, I'm recording all of my audio with it, and I'm happy with the results for both live and in-studio recordings Voice-overs are done in a studio. There are a few accessories that can make this recorder more useful and versatile. The first is the A tripod for desktop is the second device. Third, a lapel mic external to the clothing. A fourth solution would probably be a windscreen to smooth out the high end (although I do not yet possess one that fits). A pop filter does not really have to be used with a windscreen either, though I do use one now. In addition, having a mini-recorder is handy There is a USB cable to connect the recorder to your computer as a USB mic, but you probably have already got at least 15 of these. It has all those features, so you can do anything with it, and you're going to get a great, near-perfect recording You can get pro-quality sound for a reasonable price.

A comparison between Zoom H1 and Tascam DR
5/5

Despite the Zoom H1's small size, I lost track of it after using it for almost 6 months. The Tascam DR-100 is my new recording device Since I have tried them side by side, I can say the following about the differences between the two The Zoom H1 is an elegant, sharp, and high-quality camera battery. Sound is good, and the one-button operation is exceptional. The special edition white H1 I have is the special edition white. Seeing the labels and controls on the black model in a dark studio or on stage is much easier than on a black model. This is what you can hear when you play Visit the website. It's the Wooks. A net result. You can view live recordings of me on my website. The OPL sets 1 and 2 are transmitted through the H1 microphones. I have recorded SweetLiz, Wook Walk, and anything at the bottom of that page that doesn't appear to be live (I think everything live was from the OPL concert, just to be clear). A cassette deck for Tascam DR-2000 The following dates are included 2005 - 2006. It has great sound, and you can start, stop, and pause it with a single click. A few levels on the fly, even when just adjusting them, can be confusing. While the sound quality is above that of the H1, it is still not as good as It's now my go-to recording method for our band when we play through headphones. By the way, I did find it at the gig, it had fallen between my seat and rear door. Since I switched to both, I'm using them both, and they're both great. There are no doubts about how much easier the H1 is.
