I expect the hard case to hold all of the included accessories. I can only fit the hand stick and tripod in it, though. Everything else is on the loose, and you'll have to figure out how to put it away on your own. br>The USB cord is used to connect the recorder to a power source as well as your computer. br>I recommend not using the USB cord to transfer data to your computer because it will want to SYNC everything, and you will lose control of the data you saved onto the special SD micro card. br>Rather, use the full size Adapter and transfer your data to a file you have created outside of any "player. " Then erase the file from the SD card and begin recording again. br>br>The Zoom APH-100 is a high-resolution digital camera with a zoom lens. Everything about the 1N Accessory Pack for the H1n Portable Recorder is well-made. br>br>I also recommend purchasing the Zoom Hn1 recorder's separate hard case protective cover, which is not included with the recorder.
It fits the Zoom H1n. ONLY the Zoom H1n is compatible with it. There isn't enough room for anything else, including cables. There is no netting to hold a lav mic, power cord, extra batteries, or anything else in the top. There's a reason why there aren't any pictures of the case's interior.
As a result, the Zoom recorder is excellent. However, the focus of this review is on the accessory package. The tripod appears to be in good working order. It's usable, but it'd be better if there was some kind of vibration absorption in this kit. Vibrations may be picked up on a table with the Zoom on the tripod setting with any device. Because the zoom is so sensitive, it's required. All of the other components, as well as the protective case, perform admirably. Overall, it's a great package that I'd buy again.
Personally, I believe that half of these products are largely ineffective unless you have no other options. By all accounts, this is an excellent starter kit for the H1n. The foam is of decent quality and effectively blocks out wind noise. I primarily use the foam and the case, and that's about it. I usually use a tripod or a gorilla pod to mount the H1n. The included tripod is a bit flimsy and low-quality, but it'll do the job if you're in a pinch.
If you remove the foam or furry wind cover from the recorder, the case will fit perfectly. The small tripod is also decent; it won't hold a large camera, but it'll suffice for a recorder or possibly an action camera. The foam wind cover is just that: it's a foam wind cover. I'm not sure what to say. It's a good idea to keep a USB cord and charger in your bag. The handle is designed to be used with a boom pole or an extension pole. If you don't have one, it'll be of no use to you. Overall, a good value for money kit.
The top of is slightly obstructed by the wind protector. It really works. The top of the gain knob is slightly obstructed by the wind protector, but this isn't a major issue. The teeny-tiny tripod does its job admirably. In an outside zipper pocket of my gear bag, the case shielded my Zoom from both IAH and SEATAC baggage handlers. That's a winner in my book.
For what you're getting, this is a fantastic deal. It would be much more expensive if you purchased just a few of these items separately! So, for the love of God, go with this if you only need a couple of the main items.
If you intend to use your Zoom H1N for studio recording, this is a must-have accessory. The carrying case is convenient, and the microphone is effective. The almost-perfect stand attachment for positioning the device (I added 'almost' because you'll still need a lightening-proof case). To connect the Zoom to your phone or computer, you'll need a camera USB adapter cable.
