Product Description

Simple stereo/mono switching: Stereo version: For input and output connections, you must use 1/4" TRS stereo audio cable male to male connectors (1/4" Male to Male Stereo Audio Cable (TRS Cable) is the key point). -Toggle the switch on/off. - Mono version: Combines four mono signal inputs into a single mono signal output (1/4-inch TS male to male connector for input and output). The package does not include TRS or TS cables.
DC 5V power supply: The product employs the most recent DC 5V power supply mode, allowing for a wider range of application scenarios. We also include a USB power cable to make things easier for you. (NOTE: For this equipment, please use a 5V1A power supply that has been CE or UL certified.) (An adapter is included.)
Simple Control: The audio mixer gathers sound from a variety of sources (guitar, bass, and keyboard) and places it in a monitoring position for monitoring or routing. Each channel on the linear mixer has its own volume control, input plugs, and volume control, as well as a single amplifier output.
Multi-Keyboard Devices and Recording: The mixer is ideal for multi-keyboard devices and recording where multiple channels must be mixed into one audio track. It's ideal for your keyboard, a small stage setup, a drum set, or submixing before going to the main mixer. Mixer: The modern design looks great on any desktop, with large, easy-to-use controls that are small in size to avoid tangling wires, clothes, and other items.
Low-noise 4-channel line mixer: This mini audio mixer delivers the best sound quality at all output levels, thanks to its ultra-low noise operation. Distortion-free and simple to set up, this mixer is ideal for quickly mixing four line-level signals with minimal fuss. Even at maximum volume, the 4-channel mixer maintains the most integrity and produces the best sound quality.

Questions & Answers

I've seen some conflicting opinions on the use of microphones. Is it okay if I plug in a few microphones and my guitar?

There are four 1/4" mono/stereo inputs and one 1/4" stereo output on this unit. There is no phantom power in it. There's a set of prerequisites that must be met. The unit includes an amplifier that can be used to power a headset or connect to an external amplifier. If your microphones have 1/4-inch plugs, your setup is complete. Without any additional equipment, setting up should be fine. If your microphones are three-way, If you're using three-prong plugs, look for a mixer with phantom power on at least two (but not all) of the inputs. That would allow both instrument and vocal to be accommodated without the need for additional equipment or connections (hence the conflicting comments). I hope this has been of assistance.

I'm not sure where the ground should go. ?

I was never able to establish contact. There was no commotion, shock, or strangeness. without having that link. I've been asking myself the same question, and I'm stumped. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Does this give condenser microphones phantom power?

Four quarter-inch mono/stereo inputs and one audio output are included. There is no such thing as phantom strength.

What is the length of the USB cable that comes with it?

3 feet

Now that the "ultra low noise" mixer has been redesigned, it makes a lot of noise! UPDATE: My old mixer was broken when I dropped something very heavy on it by accident
3/5

Needless to say, this did not sit well with me. As a result, I had to place an order for a new one. I placed an order for the exact same thing because the old one had been so good to me. Unfortunately, it appears that this model has been redesigned. In theory, the new design appears to be superior - Unfortunately, the new design appears to be a lot worse in a lot of ways - the mono/stereo buttons are now labeled correctly, and there is now an extra grounding screw you can use; unfortunately, the new design appears to be a lot worse in a lot of ways - It is, in particular, ultra-modern now. Instead of low, there is a lot of noise. If there are multiple inputs plugged in - or even just a single device's input - It makes a very obnoxious high-pitched noise (I'm guessing around 3KHz or so, so it's not a ground loop). ) The old one didn't do this, and I don't have any significant sources of noise, so whatever it's picking up can't be a particularly strong signal. Unfortunately, the noise is extremely irritating, which defeats the purpose of an "ultra low-noise" device. Mixer of noise "br>br>Unfortunately, as a result of COVID-related illnesses, 19 issues I threw the packaging away instead of saving it because I assumed it would be as reliable as its predecessor, so I can't even RMA it. Hopefully, they'll fix it in a future revision, but at this point, I'd rather buy something else entirely than take the chance. Old review: br>br> br>Although I rarely use a mixer, when I do, I use it heavily. I've mostly been soldering multiple wires to resistors up until now, which is a pain and not very adaptable. Needless to say, this is far more effective; I do notice a slight difference in sound, but it's too subtle for me to pinpoint exactly how, and, as others have pointed out, it doesn't appear to add any significant noise to the line, which is fantastic. br>br>For me, the power is a big plus. While dealing with standard DC requirements such as 9V or 12V is relatively simple, I have to admit that having USB as a power source is extremely convenient. Not only is it easier to deal with the power supply in general, but if I need to run it on battery power, there are probably more USB power banks on the market these days than there are leaves on the ground in autumn. Because the noise level appears to be quite low, it appears to have good filtering on the input, so I'd say the USB power worked out well in the end. br>br>However, one thing that irritates me is that the buttons for switching between TS and TRS (stereo and mono) modes are actually labeled incorrectly. Down is stereo, and up is mono, as stated on the unit itself, which is incorrect. After I finished building the cables and began testing them, I spent probably an hour testing them with my multimeter and then pulling them apart and redoing them, assuming that something was wrong despite the multimeter showing what it should have shown. I'm not sure why it took me so long to try pushing the button, but once I did, I realized that the apparent short in the cable was actually an intentional short caused by the device being set to mono mode when pressed down, as the label on the device indicates. It's strange that someone did that, but now that I know, I'll just leave the buttons in the opposite position. br>br>BTW, it probably doesn't need to be stated, but mono mode is not a downmix. This is exactly what most people using this for instruments/etc would expect; I got it to use in stereo only, so it doesn't bother me, but if anyone expected to use it for downmixing along the way, it won't work.

This is a fantastic little line-level mixer
5/5

I have a few computers and an iPod on my desk, but only one set of high-quality monitor speakers. This mixer allows me to easily feed all of these sound sources into the speakers while also adjusting their volume and balance. br>br>The 5V micro USB power jack is useful because it allows me to power the mixer using just one USB cable from a USB hub. I can plug it into any USB jack on the hub because the current draw is very low. br>br>The sound quality is excellent, and there is no background noise. It's sturdy and well-made, and when I opened it up, I discovered that it's built with real integrated circuit amplifiers rather than a few transistors, as many of these low-cost mixers do. The Mono/Stereo button on each input was the only novel feature that was not well explained. It turns out that each input can accept either a stereo or mono signal, and this button indicates which one is which. The two stereo output channels will each receive a stereo source. A mono source is duplicated and sent to both stereo output channels. The mixer has a stereo output jack. The only complaint I have is that the index marks on the knobs, which indicate how far up each knob is turned, are not colored and thus difficult to see. This was easily remedied with a dab of white paint on each index mark.

It's incredible and well worth the money
5/5

This is a fantastic little mixer. I'm not even going to say 'for the price. 'br>It's just a bonus that it's so cheap (I won't say cheap) because it doesn't feel that way. The pots are solid and non-scratchy, the input/output jacks are solid, and the build quality is excellent overall. The build quality is excellent, and the performance is better than expected. I wouldn't abuse it, but it's just as well-made as the Korg Volcas I use it with. And let me tell you, it takes care of them *immaculately*! I've looked everywhere and wasted a lot of time looking, and I've ordered a few duds from here that either cut the signal too badly or were too noisy and distracting. I was on the verge of giving up when I realized what was going on. If you own a Volca, you're well aware of the device's sound output limitations. There is only one headphone jack. And without routing the headphone outputs to a mixer, you simply can't listen to both at the same time if you're using two or more synced together. It's impossible to avoid. And, to be honest, if I only want to play with a couple of them and don't want to bring my large mixer into the mix, that's a pain in the neck. It's stopped me from playing them too many times to count. It's inconvenient, to put it that way. So I've been on a mission to find something similar to this, something that's both portable and easy to use. All I needed was the ability to combine signals (properly) and listen to multiple units while wearing headphones. I could even do away with the mixer's volume knobs and rely solely on the Volcas'. Obviously, this is superior, but all I needed was the ability to combine multiple signals while maintaining high sound quality. That's exactly what it does. And she's very good at it. I can plug the Volca Sample in with a TRS and hit the stereo button, and the Volca Bass in with a 1/4" TR jack and hit the mono button, and I didn't even have to eat two inputs for a stereo signal, as you would normally have to do. br>This thing is simply amazing! If you're a Volca user like me, you'll understand what I'm talking about, and you owe it to yourself to try it. I have 6 of them, and since this one only has 4 inputs, I'm about to order another, but I thought I'd leave a review first, because with all the garbage out there, this one deserves it. Let's just say I've tried a lot of them and returned them, so I was expecting to return this one as well. As a result, I was extremely pleased and impressed. I can't say enough good things about it, and I'm going to be able to use it for a lot more than just the Volcas. For my Scarlett 4i4, for example, it gives me more inputs. To the negative reviewers, all I can say is that if you don't like it, don't buy it. You've got it backwards! That's all there is to it.
