This is simply a case for your recorder or other electronic device, with a foam block inside that you can cut out and shape to fit your device.
No, it's just a case.
You pull out foam squares in the shape of what you want to put in, and the one I bought had room for a Tascam DP-100. 008EX, 8 AA batteries (I could have probably crammed 16 in there), and a USB cable My charger couldn't fit because there wasn't enough space. If the Zoom is no wider or longer than the DP- It will fit in a 008EX with a depth of no more than an inch. Accessories, on the other hand, may not be possible.
The length and width of the Tascam 03SD are unknown to me. All you have to do now is take the necessary measurements. The thickness is likely to be acceptable. If you want, I can measure my case for you.

I like how I can tailor the interior to my specific requirements. The outer shell is flimsy, and I'm not sure it would keep the contents safe if it fell more than a few feet. I deducted one star because of this. However, it will suffice for what I require, which is a simple case to carry every now and then or for storage, and it is reasonably priced. I also appreciate the fact that I can order replacement foam and reuse this case for multiple purposes. This is a great way to save money and have multiple small custom cases if I don't need my porta studio but do need to carry a microphone, for example.
It's an excellent case. TASCAM DP-100 Even though the power supply and accessories are a tight fit, the 008EX fit nicely inside and felt protected. It necessitates a little ingenuity. However, there are no major issues here. The foam, on the other hand, is a complete disaster! When you pull on the "perforated" foam, it looks ragged and messy. It does not sit well with me. If you have an old electric knife, it can be used to cut foam. br>br>Otherwise, look for something less aggravating than this low-cost DIY project.
Originally purchased to store a set of pet sheers and spare blades, but the Hard case was too small due to the long cord (commercial sheers) and additional items. I decided to make a cable tester and toner out of it. The locks slide away from the center and are quite stiff, almost guaranteeing that they will not be opened accidentally. Each slide lock also has a hole for a small/medium padlock or other locking device, and the padding is sufficient to prevent damage to stored items, as well as being relatively waterproof. I would not attempt to submerge the case, but if it were to rain on it while it was lying flat, I would feel comfortable leaving the items outside for an extended period of time. Padding is difficult to pull out with any accuracy, as it either comes out in chunks or all at once - When purchasing, it is not quite as nice as the picture depicts. It will be easier if you use a razor knife. I drew the outline of my devices on the foam, then folded it along the line and sliced the thickness of foam out of the layers until I had the desired level for my devices. Cutting is not required for items that are extremely thin. One last point: when the case is closed, it becomes more rigid, but it still flexes and twists; it's not as rigid as I had hoped, but it'll do the job as long as it's not melted or distorted by heat.
I like how small and compact it is, but it still does the job. As a firefighter, I'm on the job. At work, guitar parts for songs keep popping into my head. When I get home, I'll be able to record them and upload them into my daw. Love it.
These fantastic little cases are an excellent carry option for amateurs who want to keep costs down while still protecting their devices. I needed some cases to transport and store my microphones and portable recorder safely, and these fit the bill perfectly. The foam is perforated into small segments, allowing you to shape a snug fit for your devices to reduce movement during transport.
008EX. The Tascam DP-100 comes with a case that is ideal for it. 008EX! It perfectly fits the machine, with room for a SM58 Shure microphone, an AC adapter, a mic cable, and a music input cable. br>br>I'm using this machine to create a stereo demo track by layering my vocals over studio tracks (much like karaoke). The machine is fantastic, but because I travel frequently, I needed a "portable studio" that I could bring with me and record in hotel rooms. This case fits perfectly in my briefcase or carry-on bag and takes up very little space. in a suitcase br>br>Many thanks to CaseMatix!.
Although it isn't a pelican case, it serves its purpose admirably. It does require some assembly, which is a good thing. You must cut out your equipment shape in the foam, so it can be customized to your specific needs. This is where I keep my Tascam and a couple of lavalieres. It performs admirably.
When I started using this case, everything went back to normal. This item is extremely durable and well-suited to my needs. There are no issues that I have. This is a case that I would strongly recommend. I'll be buying more for my other devices in the future.
