The picture shows this to be the studio one to the best of my knowledge based only on the photos. A little red Royer plate should appear in the live version where a little green Royer plate is seen in the studio version.

It was time to upgrade my studio microphones for my project as a trumpet player. I really like the sound of this! I would distort the sound on my other mics when playing close up, but this makes me sound as majestic as the Titan! Get the Arbans book if you haven't already! This is an Amazing Mic!.

Don't be afraid to bring the metal to After switching to dual miking my amp with this ribbon and the SM57, the sound I got was truly amazing

As well as enhancing the SM57 (and E609) high end, the ribbon also provides a less prominent bass note As of yet This makes it easier for me to build an even mix since I don't have to write as many posts. I can't believe what a great microphone it is.
