The product is great.
I apologize that I need to say more negative things about this product, but it is an absolute travesty. The only real function that actually worked was the radio station feature. Using it for voice recording is what I purchased it for. Despite 3 hours of work, I still couldn't get the recording to save. There are a lot of issues with this app, and I am not sure if half of the "features" actually The first thing I'm going to do is return mine to Best Buy tomorrow, and I'm crossing my fingers that I can at least get a store credit.
There was nothing in this that everyone else disagreed with, but as far as I was concerned, it did exactly what I was trying to achieve. It allowed me to convert some old tapes of mine into MP3 format when I bought it and installed it. Yes, the manual is complicated and the whole process took a lot of time, but the end result was exactly what I wanted. A tape has been made- It was only for the MP3 feature that I used it.
It was given a one-star rating as there is no zero-star rating option, but this product can be rated as It seems the manual, tutorial, and tech support all disagree on which features to use. According to the manual and tutorial, certain features are broken, and the tech support says that it does not support them. There is no way I will ever purchase another Magix product. In the event that this software is not corrected to what is advertised immediately, I will launch a class action suit.
A person finds out that they cannot retrieve information about a CD from the CDDB when they attempt to access it. What a horrible thing to happen! An older edition of the book had The $30 was a complete waste of money for me. The Magix brand has a lot to answer for. I was very disappointed with the.
The documentation is lacking, and many of the functions require you to pay $60 for an upgrade before you can use them (like retrieving the CD information). In other words, you have to manually enter all of the information since it does not allow that. While trying to figure it out, I worked for hours on it, but it failed to accomplish what it was supposed to do. Spend no time purchasing this product and do not waste money on.
All I wanted to do was transfer the sound to an MP3 player. It was especially frustrating for me as a computer expert, and even more so for me as a generally good shopper!.
