Questions & Answers

It comes with the analog lab 3 and piano v, right?

You will need to register your product after you have purchased.

Can you tell me what size the keys are? The keys of a full size piano are Wouldn't it be better if the keys were 6" and 4", or a little smaller like a synth key?

As of today, the white keys on my Yamaha P200 weighted action keyboard are 6" long and the black keys are 4" long. Approximately half an inch shorter than the MK2, the keys are composed of white plastic. The white keys have a height of 5", and the blue keys have a height of The distance between them is 5 inches.

It sounds like it can be played without a computer, but can I do it?

It is possible to play without a computer, but it does not stand alone. Other products, such as a sound module, along with speakers or headphones, would also need to be purchased. By default, controllers do not have any sounds, so it is best to connect them to a computer that runs

The only device I use is a Mac with a USB port You need a port C. Is it possible to hook up this keyboard to a Mac via an USBA>C adapter and still get power from the Mac?

With a Mac Pro as well as a laptop, I possess it. Getting a powered adapter or hub is the best option. By doing so, you won't run into any I wish you the best of luck with this keyboard.

A MIDI controller that I traded for a Novation Impulse is the best one I have tried in some time
5/5

The difference is night and day between Nektar offerings and the ones I tried previously. I do think the Arturia is a bit more expensive (the Essential line is more comparable to the Nektars, but I haven't tried those), but you can tell how quality is when you play it. In spite of the fact that this 61 key keyboard is only semiweighted, the action is responsive online at any velocity level, which is not the case with some controllers. Yes, it is expensive, but the old adage of 'you get what you pay for' holds true here. You can get your hands on the controller at a great price if you don't already own Arturia's KeyLab software, because the soft synth is included, with an infinite selection of Overall, if it fits within your budget, it is recommended.

The third quality is There are two Midi Controllers
5/5

Honestly, I cannot get over how awesome this is. The build quality is excellent, and the functionality is great. This mode can be used to browse or switch between presets remotely within the included software, where you can tweak them as you wish. The knobs of the analog synths have labels that show what their default settings are A style mapping allows you to use the controller just like a standalone analog synth without having to look The DAW mode in Reaper was easy to set up, and it's seamless to switch from one to the other for productive work flow. In User mode you can customize (most) of the controls so that they work the way you want them to, much like a standard My favorite part of the LCD is that it provides just enough info so you can display other stuff on your computer screen (I often display sheet music on mine), but isn't overly redundant with the software This seems to be the best balance between the integrated ability but higher cost of a workstation keyboard and the range of possibilities of a MIDI controller. I would recommend it unless you dislike Arturia's software or insist that your sound making capability must be built into the unit.
