SLIM KEYBOARD WITH A 25-NOTE VELOCITY SENSITIVE KEYBOARD: The keyboard is the heart of any controller, and it's where you'll find new melodies to play. The slim-keys are made of high-quality materials and have a mechanical action that is both comfortable to use and durable enough to withstand life on the road.
8 RGB BACKLIT PERFORMANCE PADS: The all-new pads are velocity and pressure sensitive, resulting in a great, dynamic feel for your drums. When you're launching clips in Live, triggering drum sounds, or tweaking presets in Analog Lab, the pads have RGB backlighting to help you see what you're doing. We can also toggle between two internal pad banks, giving you access to a total of 16 drum sounds or audio clips.
16 ROTARY ENCODERS: With dedicated pre-mapping for the included Ableton Live Lite and Analog Lab Lite software, you'll have direct access to all the parameters of your favorite sounds. Modify your filters' cutoff and resonance, your synths' LFO speed and depth, and your effects. Two of the encoders can also be clicked, which is useful for controlling DAW software.
THE SMALL BUT IMPORTANT UPDATES: The MiniLab MkII has a few small but significant updates that make it the professional's choice: use the dedicated buttons to easily switch the keyboard octave up and down for full range access; use the ultra-responsive capacitive touch-strips to add a pitch bend or modulation; and plug in a sustain pedal to capture that authentic keyboard performance.

It's a dream to use with Ableton. br>br>My only two (minor) gripes are as follows:
- The pads aren't great, but I don't use them much anyway.
- The pitch bend wheel is a bit of a pain to use. A physical wheel would be much better for me. To me, it's not a big deal.

It arrived on time, and the packaging was in good condition. I had no trouble registering the controller with Arturia to gain access to the software that came with it because it was unregistered. So far, I'm quite pleased with it. The keys have a nice feel to them that isn't too stiff, and the endless knobs are also a plus. It's a little heavier than I expected, but I'd rather not feel like I'm playing with a toy.
