Questions & Answers

Could this product be modified to produce the same effect as a campfire? Or does it not require any modifications to produce its similar effect to a campfire?

For years, we have sold these to Boy Scout groups, and they used these to create faux campfires. The wood was placed around the unit, and the fire was My understanding is that you would modify in some way, but not why or how. Chauvet provides a bigger version of this effect called the Firebird and ADJ offers the Enferno - either one will work, but they will be larger and more "flame-like" than the other one.

Is it possible to trim the flame sack in a way that allows a more realistic flow of ?

There are only two magnets on the bottom of the "flame" it's just a piece of silk with magnets glued on the top. Despite its length, you may not be able to improve it by cutting It is possible to create your own flame by using silk and magnets.

Can the fan be used in a theatrical performance without being too loud? In a 55 gallon drum, can the sides of the drum be seen reflecting light?

This effect can be found in the movie It was actually relatively quiet when the fans ran. Flame color is sharp and well illuminated. Regarding your question about the 55 gallon drum, I am not quite sure what you mean.

We love the way it looks on our Joe Buck Roasts
4/5

Looks great if you set it up right out of the box for a Halloween scene (Joe Buck Roast). When the fan motor quits, the fan stops spinning. As a result, I had to tap on the side in order to get it to start Once the fan is running, it stops again after a while. The cover of the fan motor was apparently obstructed by something. After turning it upside down and shaking it, it worked without any problems. As part of our Halloween décor, we used this outdoors. The flame looks like it is real at night. LED lights glimmer on a silk cloth that is orange and blue. As the fan blows upward, the silk appears to be moving like a flame. Small thin magnets are all that holds it to the unit, which is the sole downside of the silk flame.

Cold makes it difficult for it to do well
4/5

This is a pretty well made and convincing fire effect. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because I have not been able to use it in cold temperatures. My yard display for Halloween is a campground theme, so I thought this might make an excellent campfire. When it arrived I tested it out in the kitchen, but on the day (a very cold day) it made a whining sound and did not throw enough air to move the cloth. It worked fine once more after I brought it indoors to warm up on a hunch. It seemed to be affected by the cold in some way. Later, after more effort, I discovered that if I set the wheel at just the right angle, it worked, but finding the right angle took some time, and once the wheel was in motion I did not dare shut it off for fear that I wouldn't be able to restart it. In the end it fooled many people by creating a false fire, which was put on for the night and fooled them into thinking they could warm themselves by the fire at night.

There's nothing wrong with it, but there is no perfect solution It means "that"
4/5

You may also As it turns out, I had expected It's hard to find things I like more than Chauvet. There are a lot of them in my possession. The burlesque show we did for Halloween had these. In the video, you will be able to see the set. The reviews seem to be fake, so I am unsure if they are genuine. Well, well. There are no hard and fast rules. YES. That's what I mean. This is a sturdy product. The design seems to be good. A lot of good stuff comes from the company. It's just the concept of a silk flame that interests me. There is nothing real about it. This means a lot to There's something pretty cheezy about it, which makes us A side-by-side comparison of cheek and tongue. There is one kind of disappointment in this product, aside from assembly requirements, you should never hook it up to a dimmer switch, even if it's a dimmer pack that is switched and does not dim. Having a plus is important. If you want the item hung or on legs, you can choose that. Two of my gold shirts are about to be sprayed. Because the product is a bit different from what I'm used to, I'm not blown away, but if it does what you like, it's pretty I'm from Pennsylvania. The image in photographs is much better than the one in person.

This is enticing! A fake fire is all I wanted for my son's camping themed party
5/5

I'm having one in my house, but I wanted to do it indoors. The Chauvet Bob came to my attention after searching for white for a while. Since I could get it for half the price of an indoor fire prop I was looking at, I figured I had nothing to lose. My experience with Amazon so far has been absolutely fantastic when it comes to returns, so I knew I had an advantage. A really cool fire effect can be seen on the screen. It is extremely popular among my kids, and I look forward to using Although I would like the legs to be shorter, I need to find a way to do that. Besides using this as a prop for Halloween, I'm very excited to be able to use it as a wreath It would be great if you could add more silk to the flame. I'm sure I could buy some at a craft store, but it's not the easiest thing. The pros are This item has a number of great features including * Easy to use* Great fire effects* Great price* Cons As a result, you will only be able to use the hanging chain or legs, as it needs ventilation on the bottom in order to function.
The silk "flame" is fraying a bit at the ends, but should be easy to * There is no long.

It's best to let it dry on carpet or on something that can withstand that type of moisture
4/5

You should be aware of the surface on which this device is operated. Make sure that the reflection of the vibration is minimized. It's best to place it on carpet or something that can absorb potential feedback from The first time I used it on a solid kitchen counter, the vibration generated by the fan must have created a feedback loop, making a terribly loud sound (the feet should be padded with soft felt As far as the rest of it goes, it worked perfectly once it was moved to another.

It was believed to be real by a lot of people
4/5

These were used for a corporate booth we designed at CES. It was very flattering to be complimented. A large number of people gathered on the floor and came up to put their hands out in the hope of some warmth (the convention center was very At a closer look, it is clear it is not a real fire, but at any distance more than 20 feet, it is clearly not one I am quite sure that it is real from 30 feet away. A small piece of light silk that is wafted from a fan below is known as a "flame. " It is so sheer it begins to fray as soon as it is blown by a fan. In addition, you only get one of these with it. If it came with multiple options, or if it was possible to purchase more, it would be nice.

You know what you're getting
5/5

I was giving this as a gift to A similar one was previously purchased, and it was made entirely of plastic with a very cheap look. The flame looks really realistic. I like that it is made of metal and will last for a long time. There are two downsides to this product the black power cable As the power cord is black and thick, it allows you to see it more than you should if you hang it (as we did). Regardless of what you do, unplugging it is the only way to turn it off. It doesn't have an on/off switch, but we have a remote control switch that lets us turn it on/off remotely. I think they will all be loud since it is after all a fan. The fan is a little noisy too, but I'm assuming they all will be. Overall, I am very pleased with this product and believe this will be the best flame light you can find. Since we bought it four years ago, we have owned it. I still have no problems with it. The silk on it became tattered after 4 years, but a quick trim with scissors rectified the problem. We use it frequently (almost every day) in the man cave. As with any fan, the metal grate just needed to be cleaned as it wasn't blowing as hard as it used to. Very impressed with the work that you do. I have updated Despite constant use for five years, our flame light has decided that it has had enough. However, we liked the last one so much we got another one, which we are confident will last exactly as long as the last (if used daily).
