I use a Crown XTi2000 to power four of them; the XTi2000 puts out around 500 watts per speaker, which these speakers can easily handle. It is preferable to have a larger amp over a smaller amp because a smaller amp will clip and blow out the tweeters if pushed too hard.
These require amplification and are not self-contained.
Some are 1/4 in, while others are speakon.

The SX300 is extremely durable (our oldest models are over 20 years old and are the previous SX200 version). These are some of the most versatile speakers I've used, as they can be pole mounted, suspended individually or in an array (with kits), and used as wedges with a simple foot kit. I like how we can use them as monitors for our regular shows or suspend them for larger events outside of our main venue. The sound quality is excellent, and replacement parts are easy to come by if a driver fails.
I've been performing for many years and these are the cleanest, clearest, and most natural-sounding speakers I've ever heard. I must confess that I first heard these at a funeral home. After that, I began to notice them in baseball stadiums and other professional settings. Yes, they only weigh 32 pounds. There are no funny overtones to EQ out, only pure, clear sound.
I've used these speakers before, and they produce excellent audio. They have a lot of clarity and a lot of bass. The majority of people are unaware that the geometry of the horn and cabinet structure has a significant impact on the speaker's clarity. In comparison to this rounded 65x65 throat horn, the traditional 90X40 horn has significantly more phase distortion. Of course, a lower crossover horn driver and high-quality components, both of which are present in this Sx300e, contribute to clarity. These are made in the United States and have a five-year warranty. warranty. I compared these to everything else out there, and despite being an older design, they still outperform the majority in terms of size and price. The cab, which weighs 32 pounds. is a significant advantage. These don't go all the way down, but they'll suffice for most medium-sized live sound events. This speaker has a lot of power and sounds fantastic when paired with a good amp and a clean mixer.
Although I did not purchase mine here, I do have a set. I work as a DJ in the industry. I've had these for a long time (I believe I bought them in 2006). During the weekend, one was stolen. I'm terrified of how much it'll cost to replace it, but it'll be well worth it.
I've owned every brand of speaker there is, and I've tried them all. Four of these are in my possession. Sound reproduction is crystal clear, light, and incredible. br>br>It's a little on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. If you're going to drive four speakers, I recommend using a power amplifier. The sound alone will knock you out. Make certain you have sufficient power to operate these.
These are without a doubt the best speakers I've ever had! I've been a DJ for more than 25 years. This is the crème de la crème!.
