Questions & Answers

The Slx4 receiver we already have is working. Would it be possible to use new transmitter without setting it up if I bought another bodypack Slx1 transmitter?

However, you can only use one microphone at a time. If you think you will be able to connect two microphones to two different individuals using the same receiver at the same time, that will not be possible. In the event that the batteries on the first one go dead and you just want to plug in the headset to the 2nd TW, that would be OK, but you will just need to set up the new TW on the same channel as you have it now

There are hour-long aerobics classes at our gym. Approximately how long would it take to go through all the batteries before one needs to change them?

You may be able to use your laptop all day, depending on which exact batteries you use ( and whether you remember to turn it off between classes). If I don't turn it off, I get about 5+ hours out of it. I use regular batteries and a guitar for power. It may help if you read that. This is Mark,

There is a PGX4 (J6) 572 in my possession. Age 25 - It was found that both the 875 receiver and the body pack were broken. There aren't a lot of PGX1 bodypacks around. What are the chances of SLX1 (J3) working?

Using a J3 receiver is the only requirement for the J3 body pack. It is essential that the frequency of your transmitter and receiver match. The receiver and transmitter must both be J6 for them to work together. No matter which model of Shure gear you buy, most Shure gear (all models) is designed for use with ANY Shure A wireless microphone must, however, operate on the same frequency. A transmitter is a device that transmits.

Very happy with the product, it works just as it should
5/5

The batteries don't need to be replaced even after years of use. The application can be turned on and played as soon as it has been installed. As much as I did not pay attention and wasn't sure how this worked, the first time I ordered the wrong frequency. The answer is now clear to me. If your receiver has a corresponding frequency bandwidth, make sure you check it. Furthermore it supports the same-channel usage for different devices, which means you won't have to worry about buying different receivers or changing channels for different transmitters. It's that feature that makes sure a great product.

This receiver seems to work well with the one we already have
5/5

I found the receiver to be a perfect match to this device. In the end, we decided we preferred the lapel mic over the handheld mic that came with our receiver. I was able to fix our problem without buying a brand new system because this solution was perfect.
