My receiver is in an area where there is a significant amount of EMF interference, walls and other obstacles, right next to where the handheld microphones are Before I found a channel that worked perfectly, I had to fiddle around for a good 2 or 3 minutes. Earlier this week, I received the mic. On Saturday, I went to the gig with it (after testing My first gig with this band was several months ago, and I haven't performed with a live band with a mic before (although I can sing). Although wireless let me go crazy and be free, I was able to get in and out of the crowd effortlessly. This was an amazing experience. The sound was clear, crisp, and there was no static, cut outs, or any other problem. As an economical method of ensuring that interference isn't going to be a problem, I thought this was the best decision. I did not encounter any problems during installation. The first time I used this unit was just a few days ago. The receiver dropped out constantly when I moved from it for seven days The length of the room is eight A quiet venue like a church or some type of presentation might be nice to use this mic system for, however a touring band won't be able to use it.
