There is no need for a charger with this microphone. It's an XLR microphone, which means it's a wired microphone that doesn't need to be powered.
There is no cost - I believe the price is the same. They were, at the very least.
It doesn't come with a cable.
Yes, the "S" denotes a model that includes a switch. I rarely use the switch in practice. At the sound board, I mute the mic, and I've discovered that the switch can be accidentally turned off. I like the mic, but I wouldn't buy it again if it had a switch.

Shure SM-II has always been my go-to headphone. 58 user - I never considered myself to be in need of change. This mic is used by my younger brother, who is a professional musician in the family, and he was always trying to persuade me to use one as well. I finally gave in to peer pressure and bought one two months ago. I brought it to my next job and received an A+. In the evening, I was b'ed. I polled the audience to see which one they would rather hear me speak on, and this one came out on top. Allow me to be clear: I'm the family's amateur, with a voice that I refer to as a "barroom baritone," and I perform for fun at local coffee shops and open mics. I'd never be mistaken for a professional. This is a powerful microphone - I had to adjust the EQ and turn down the preamp, but everyone agreed that I sounded clearer and "better. " "And there you have it, folks, direct from the ten or twelve people in the audience. " What makes you think they're wrong? Bonus - The prices are the same as if you were buying a 58.
I really wanted to like this, but after a month or so with it, I think I'll have to settle for a 4 star (like) rating (I'd go as high as 4). If I had a choice, I'd give it five stars. It's a significant improvement over the cheap Samson mics it replaced, but I still prefer a SM58 for live performance (possibly because it's a sound I'm more familiar with). br>br>However, if you're recording live performances, I believe this is a far superior microphone to the SM58 - It's crisper and more articulate than a 58, has more high-end responsiveness, and colors the midrange less than a 58, all of which contribute to cleaner/clearer vocals on recordings (though for serious recording with a dynamic mic, I recommend looking at mics around $200 instead of anything in the $100 mic class, but if your options are Sm58 and 835 - In my opinion, the 835 is superior). br>br>So there you have it: I prefer the SM58 for live performance and the 835 for recording (and to be fair, I still prefer the 835 for live performance; I just prefer the 58 a little more).
The microphone sounds great, and it's a good price; I got the version with the on/off switch, which is nice to have, but the problem is that they just put the mailing sticker on the microphone box when they shipped it. This is a common practice, and I have no objections to it; however, the issue here is that there was no sticker or tape covering the tab that opens the box. It only took one pull tab to open it completely, and it wasn't even that tight. So, at any point along the shipping route, someone could have easily opened the box, pulled out the contents, and closed it without causing it to look any different. Fortunately, mine arrived in perfect condition, but continuing to ship it like this is probably not a good idea, or someone will be out $100 because Amazon failed to cover the open tab with tape.
Is it even necessary for me to mention the Sennheiser e835? I had two Shure SM 58 microphones and had been using them for a long time. It was simple to switch to Sennheiser. It's unfair to compare the SM 58 and the e 835 because they're both fantastic phones. However, for the time being, I'm using the E 835 as my microphone:.
Even in noisy environments, the sound quality of this microphone is excellent. I use it to DJ in a club and it picks up all of the audio from the sound system without issue.
Before returning it, I only used it once. I was able to tell right away that the frequency response of my trusty Shure SM- The 58 (which I was attempting to replace) was far superior to the Sennheiser. Instead, I purchased a Shure Beta 58A, which is an EXCELLENT microphone. To get the best response, I no longer need to "kiss the mic. ".
I bought it for church and am very happy with the sound quality. It's mounted above the keyboard and doesn't pick up outside noises or feedback. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good microphone at a good price.
I needed a good microphone that wasn't too expensive. Sennheiser's E835 is a high-quality microphone that can be used for a variety of For my DJ streaming show, the S Dynamic Cardioid Vocal Microphone was the ideal choice. My voice is now crystal clear and there is no feedback. I'm overjoyed that I bought this!.
