I don't know what to say because I'm at a loss for words. 100%. This is what I use on my floor Tom, which I used to use my RE20 on, but the RE20 is now in my kick drum, with a D6 on the outside of the resonant head with reverse polarity. I'm currently using the TT1's younger brother (the TT1 pro instrument unswitched) on my snare and toms, and I prefer these Prodipe mics to any of my other dynamic drum mics; I'll keep these in my studio for a long time and replace them if they break. In terms of sound quality, this TT1 is on par with the MD421. The tone is very controlled, and the noise rejection is excellent. Prodipe, you've enlisted my help.
We've always bought more expensive microphones for my husband, who works as an auctioneer, but he tried this one and really likes it. People who aren't "naturally" loud speakers will find this to be ideal. This microphone is hot, which means it produces a lot of noise.
Shipping was very quick. It appears to be exactly what I was anticipating. Good for a small home studio with a limited budget, and the quality is adequate. It's also not made cheaply (it's quite heavy). The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have an on/off switch (which is to be expected at this price point). Try it!.
