Questions & Answers

Is this piano similar to an upright or grand piano in terms of sound quality?

A grand piano is more superior, albeit not quite up to the level of an upright. However, a grand may not be able to match the sound of

Do you know if the power supply is multi-voltage? Would 220V work?

The answer is no. There are only 120 Volts in the unit sold in America. There is no transformer external to this piano and it is powered solely by its internal power supply. If you want to find a 220 I believe you will have to search the European market. Paul, that is an excellent piano.

What short stage pianos are made by Yamaha or by anybody else (i.e. A 64-key keyboard or a 49-key keyboard is also possible. I appreciate it. ?

As far as I can tell, most manufacturers go with Their "best touch" pianos are equipped with this key. There is an emphasis on flexibility for 64 key models that become "portables."

What type of piano does it have? It has 88 keys, A grand piano, just like the one in the real world?

It is true. This piano feels and plays as if it were a real one. The touch is very responsive. Speak to you

A vibrant and clear sound
5/5

My goal is to become a professional pianist within a year. It was an upgrade for me from the Casio Privia PX330 digital piano I previously owned, since the former was one third of the cost and had more extras, such as recording on SD card, while the latter lacked aesthetics and sound quality. While I use headphones when practicing, the audio on the built-in speakers produces a lively sound similar to that of a piano. When I compare the weighted hammer keys of the Yamaha CP300 with my teacher's acoustic piano, the difference is hardly noticeable. The sustain pedal is sturdy, and again, it feels like a real piano. Buy a stand that can adjust two inches lower than standard stands. When you buy the stand, make sure you can adjust it between 16mm and 32mm. This happens because Yamaha CP300 has an additional buffer of 2 inches of housing (perhaps for the power supply that is built-in), so the keyboard is about 2 inches higher than most of its counterparts. To summarize, Yamaha makes quality products, and the CP300 is one of those products. It's been around for quite some time and is well established.

A little tricky to use the interface, but the sound is great
4/5

A great product. The only gripe with this keyboard is the speed at which you can move through the If you change sounds, the keyboard does not remember where you were and takes you back to the beginning whenever you do so. The number 24 on the E, as an example, is something I really like. It is set to piano. switch to a different sound and end up wanting to go back to the previous, I have to return to Up to the 24th sound on the piano and scroll all the way up. As a result, transitioning becomes more difficult.

Overall, I like the quality of the sound. It is definitely a high-quality product. However, there are a few minor things that could be tweaked, depending on the individual users needs.

Everything about this product is of the highest quality
5/5

My experience with this keyboard has been very positive. However, I have seen that Yamaha has discontinued making this model. The older version of it has been replaced with a newer one that does not have an amp or speakers, most likely in order to cut Due to the fact that I do not tour, this does not affect A great deal of variation of the "Rhodes" EP, the DX EP and acoustic piano sounds make this a truly excellent value for the money. Those layered ones are wonderful, there are quite a few of them This is a nice piano with nice action that is not too firm but still gives you a good piano feeling. Several presets do not quite meet expectations, the 'scat' preset being the most notable. I do have one minor complaint, however Despite its low price, this keyboard will give you all the basic sounds of an electric or acoustic piano, does not require an external amp, and comes with a large selection of realistic piano sounds. Make sure you grab one while they are still available.

There's something unclear to me (Yamaha CP4)
3/5

Cheaply made with plastic parts that break left right and center, this keyboard is poorly constructed. An important problem with the keybed makes it very frustrating to use. Typically, there are little rubber clips underneath each key to hold it stable, but the ones under the black keys keep falling out causing the keys to shift and shake. The only way to fix this is to remove the white keys and remove the black one so you can clip it The issues that keep occurring time after time on my keyboard have caused me to open it at least 12 times in two years to fix them. I am not sure about other owners of this keyboard. The rubber pieces fell out at one point, so I had to use super glue to keep them from falling out, but considering the price of this keyboard and all the bragging that was happening among members of the media, it is a shame. A few of the short bottom notes sound like an old rusted piano with old strings on the s6 grand piano. However, it is not the best idea to use cheap plastic to make this instrument somewhat portable. The rest of the sounds are very high quality, but the cheap plastic is not the best choice.

I was surprised by the amount
4/5

This is a good piano sound, it plays like a real piano, has a good choir sound, although the string sounds could be better, especially when blended with the piano. There are also lots of MIDI sounds, and I still haven't figured out how everything works. It's refreshing to see that the often-repeated phrase is not always used This is a smart design and a smart implementation because the commonly used functions are displayed as buttons.
