With this piano, I know I can adjust the pressure sensitivity of the keys as I like. As far as sound quality is concerned, the keyboard is quite nice. I use this keyboard at my apartment and it's great for headphone use after hours. In my other house, I have an old Steinway Model L, so I refer to that for reference. Although I liked the piano, I did not like the stand There are too many problems with it. Invest in the stand made by Casio for this piano (despite the fact that it's pretty expensive at about $139 on Amazon. ) Unlike the Casio stand, the stand will not move a bit. It's nice to have the headphone jack on the front of the piano as well. There is nothing wrong with the seat that comes with the package, but the headphones are not up to snuff. Due to my Bose noise canceling headphones, I am spoiled for life.

Edit for Casio's people contacted the seller, who in turn contacted Casio, and were informed that the power adapter had been inserted outside of the packaging instead of inside! It was my fault, really!.
