Questions & Answers

Do you think that an old woman with a small frame would prefer to play with weighted keys or soft touch adjustable keys?

With fully weighed keys, you play as if you were playing a real acoustic piano, while playing soft touch keys feels like using a plastic toy keyboard. Both are extremely easy to use, but one just feels fake and does not provide the same sound quality. Due to a lack of weight and a lack of sound when playing the keys, this keyboard was returned to the manufacturer. Yet I am a piano teacher and my children play, so I want them to have a fully weighted instrument. Suitable for someone just looking for something to do on her spare time, this should be fine for a small old lady.

Where can I find the adapter?

Definitely, everything you need is included to get started playing right away. All required accessories are included, including the power adapter, music rack, sustain pedal, etc.

Is there a stand included with this keyboard?

There is an option to purchase stands for this piano, but they are not included. It is possible to purchase bundles that include a stand, but the price for this will be higher.

Could you tell me what was the model number of this keyboard? What is so different about it from the one from Artesia? Does 88w exist?

Model I am using is the single performer and has fewer features than models I've seen in the past

My expectations were surpassed both in terms of what I got and what I didn't
4/5

Over 25 years ago, I learned how to play the piano. This wasn't given to me so I couldn't use it. The 88 key midi controller that I bought has a simple layout. As well as the pedal, I upgraded it. A piano-like one is included, but I prefer one that is more like a video game. Therefore, I will share with you the two greatest cons and two greatest The cons are '(1) The action is a little loose and the controls for controlling the velocity aren't very accurate. D2 is less sensitive than any of the others, so if I'm not conscious about it I'll end up playing an amazing chord with a thick D2 patch sticking out like a sore thumb. You will need to keep a copy of the instruction manual nearby since you will find there is a lot more functinality than you first expect. The pros are Overall, this is a great keys board if you're looking for something light to play in a bar. There is no Steinway in this. There is no pretense of being. The good thing about it is that it is perfect (4) Don't put off the big You can hook this thing up to an ipad or laptop and it will play the patches through its own sound card. That means I can record straight out of it's stereo outs using the $400 Sony Studios patches and it sounds as good as if I were working directly from The sounds you can operate with are unlimited when you take your iPad along. Despite the stupid D2, this is a great keyboard and should have gotten a 5 star if not for it.

This is a great way to get back into piano
5/5

I took piano lessons for about seven or eight years when I was a child. Sunday school is a place where I often play. I had lost all of it fifty some years later. For the past twenty years, I have mainly been interested in guitar, but I did have the desire to get back to piano. To evaluate my situation, I looked at several factors As there was not enough room to have a piano, the piano would have to have smaller footprint, be similar to a keyboard, have 88 keys that feel like piano keys, and be able to strike them with ease My playing skills might not be able to be restored to their original levels, so I had to make sure that it was affordable. A review, weighing all options, and considering the reviews led me to choose the Artesia 88 key piano. My life is very happy right now. It's been a month since I got it, and with the help of YouTube, online sheet music, and a couple of instructional books I think that I'm going to develop my skills quite well. It has 88 keys (very important for many piano pieces), a nice feel to the keys, a pretty good sound even without any amplification, and reasonable volume control. It's offered as a beginner keyboard This will be my tool until I am no longer able to use it The likelihood of this not occurring is low.

A great piano course that will teach you almost everything you need to know
5/5

It's my first time learning the piano and I wanted all 88 keys to practice on, so this was perfect for me. My computer connects to it and runs LMMS and a VST on it so that when I play a musical instrument, I can hear different instruments. It is also great that I won't wake up my roommates if I play at night. There's also a way to listen to it without the computer and without speakers if you want. When you press harder and lighter, there is a more dramatic and softer sound as you would expect, so that is a good thing. There's a lot of settings to choose from if you're using speakers. The EQ is adjustable as is a lot of other stuff. Those serious about learning and who aren't going to abandon it in a week should consider this piano as a great first instrument and a good investment. I would recommend this to everyone. Although, it does not come with a stand, so you'll need to buy that separately. The sheet music props are included along with the power cable. forgot to bring a USB cable with it, so I don't know if it comes with one.

I really like the sound and I like how easy it is to use
5/5

We bought this piano following our previous artesia grand piano purchase. My husband is both a piano and guitar enthusiast. He needed a portable 88 note piano and was attracted by the price and a previous Artesia grand piano, so we bought this one. This piano has a very good sound for a portable piano and when it's hooked up to an amplifier, it sounds like a concert grand. It has a soft keybed, is smooth and responsive to the touch, and has a soft touch keybed. Add more instrument voices to his tablet using his tablet. Piano is perfect for musicians who need a compact piano to carry anywhere or beginners on a tight.

Excellent value
5/5

Sound is good, keyboard works great and the price is good for a beginner pianist.

I was planning to buy the PE-80 before my loss. I only needed 88 voices, but I am not sure what I would have done without them. With a midi cable (not included) you can also connect to an Apple device and utilize GarageBand to play additional sounds. If you connect your phone or tablet to the keyboard and then play music, you won't be able to play the piano at the same time since the piano keys will be drowned out by the music sound, but I play with my tablet instead, which doesn't have.

Sound was very quiet and it was hard to press the keys
3/5

The keys were difficult to press only if you were right on the edge.

There is a slight enlargement in size between these keys and authentic piano keys
3/5

While the piano has 88 keys, the actual size of each one is a tad smaller than the piano key itself. I think it would be good for a beginner or one with small hands to play some day and grow into a larger size.

The product is fantastic
4/5

However, I am a total novice, so I have no idea what I'm talking about. The keyboard I have been using for a few weeks now has a couple of things that stand out. Please note It is difficult to find sounds to use. It sounds amazing to have the option to play the grand piano! Please note Having a volume control is great, as you can adjust it so you can hear clearly or not hear anything at all. Please note This is the only problem I have with this keyboard. Sometimes when playing multiple chords at the same time a key might not play correctly or may not This has only happened to me a couple of times, and it doesn't alter the quality of the product at all, especially for this price point. Just thought I'd share this in case that kind of thing is a deal breaker )
Overall, this keyboard was a good Except for the issue described above, I have not experienced any trouble using this, and I recommend it!.
