The Roland FP-125 and Yamaha P125 had been on the review shelf for a while, but I had to decide between them I have not been disappointed by the Roland! The fp30 excels at both touch and sound, so if those are your primary concerns under 1000 dollars, then go for it! How good the keys feel under my fingers is almost impossible to describe, it is almost impossible not to play with passion and expression. As a bonus, the ivory keys all look like imitation ivory.
