While the piano was a good piano, It stopped working six months after we bought it brand new on Amazon. There is nothing we can do to repair it. After waiting on hold for several times, I was unable to contact Yamaha customer service. In their online warranty policy, they state that if the bike is bought from any other place than a Yamaha authorized dealer store, the bike is not covered by the Yamaha warranty. IF YOU BUY ON AMAZON YOU NEED TO BE AWARE OF THIS!.
It's a no-brainer It's amazing how good this piano is! This piano is as tactile and sounds as if it were a real piano. Furthermore, its elegance and simplicity make it a great gift. I LOVE YOU!.
I need to reset it. The piano arrived and I jumped right on playing it (in spite of knowing I should have read the instructions). I assumed that it would be fine since I assumed it would be electric. My ears were off pitch for the first week. I thought I was going crazy, as if something was wrong with my ears. It turns out that whatever happened in the factory, or whatever happens to previous owners returning, or whatever happens during transport, the pitch setting wasn't right. My electric piano became out of tune so I went to the manual, reset it and it's now good. However, for a while I was confused as to how this could happen to an electric piano. Nobody would push the B if they had the choice to hear C instead!.
The piano that I am playing is absolutely gorgeous, and I can't say enough good things about it. My suggestions to anyone who wishes to improve their performance and quality of play would be to get this piano because it is built beautifully and has the right wood and structure . However, it is because of the beauty of this piano that I was so disappointed to have finally put everything together and find out that the bottom octave keys don't work. You are warned Even though the power cord is beneath everything, trust me when I say it's worth the small effort to find it rather than having to lift everything after everything has been assembled. I wouldn't be returning it the day after I got it if it wasn’t for the keys that do not respond to pressure despite the amount applied to them, or the ones that are noticeably more sensitive when you play them than the rest. If you're looking for a music store, I recommend you check there first before buying online. All in all, the piano is great, but I'm very disappointed with the quality of the piano after it arrives. Having brand new and broken equipment after spending more than $800 is not something to look forward to.
When I ordered the first piano, three of the keys were damaged. It is a very disappointing experience. Perhaps the carrier was to blame for these flaws, but it seemed the manufacturing process was the culprit. It would be easy for me to order another replacement, but I'm fed up with reboxing pianos that should have been OK to begin with, not to mention that I can't keep taking time off from work just so UPS can take it back to me.
(Note I am 125 lb female with no upper body strength. ) Sound is great, it's easy to use, it's easy to put together, and it's not too heavy. My husband uses it the most. I bought it for myself, but he is the one who uses it the most. Great addition to the living room, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to a keyboard or piano.
A missing part may mean the unit will not work. Due to today's events, I cannot practice or assemble. There is a lot of weight to these parts and they are very well made. The value of a part disappears when it is missing. This will be returned so I can check if I can get the complete set the.
The entry has been on my wish list for quite some time, but I hesitated to buy it - Models with higher levels of abstraction or some of the more complex ones It is very helpful to have interactive feedback from the MIDI interface. My favorite piano pieces have been presented in keystroke notation on YouTube in just a few days, allowing me to take my playing to a whole new level. You can't help but agree with me Having recently returned after a long absence, this is an excellent option to consider. There was a YouTube video available on how to set up a Yamaha YDP piano, which was very easy. Instructions are on the box, but it's still great to have a piano professional walk you through the process. It probably only took a few minutes to set up, at most).
