Questions & Answers

In the description, it says the keys can be adjusted for sensitivity, does that mean the keys are touch-sensitive? Are you sensitive to force and play louder as it increases?

As well as allowing you to customize the velocity sensitivity for your own playing style. The fact that they can change the output a little bit to suit their style of playing allows them to tweak the sound somewhat,

What is the voltage of the included power supply?

In your definition of dual voltage, you mean that you can use both 110 and 220 volts. The included AC adapter is dual voltage, of course. There is a clear statement on the adapter to that effect. A 12V 2 adapter outputs is provided by the adapter. There is no DC at 0A.

Is there a foot pedal I can attach?

Hello, it's a representative of Alesis No, Recital does not feature a dedicated 1/4" sustain input. Works well with a wide variety of sustain pedals! Use of the ASP-based approach is recommended

It is not possible to print return slips quickly enough with Do you ever get frustrated when you buy something and then find that you cannot put it back in the box it came in or print the return shipping slip quickly enough after you received it? The keyboard is the one
3/5

Due to the low price and the fact that I had never heard of this brand, I decided to give it a try for a gig that I had. It was easy to use and sounds great! This is by far the worst keyboard I have ever used. From Faziolis and Steinways at concert halls to the floor samples electric keyboard at Costco, I've played pianos for almost 30 years. In spite of having been convinced by their flashy marketing videos here on Amazon, this keyboard turns out to be complete utter garbage. There is no way to adjust the weight of the keys – a sure way to ruin your finger and hand form if you ever plan on playing a real piano. We have all the keys - It is only the width and not the full length of the size. As for the sound output, it is also poor. In terms of sound quality and native output, the 56-key Yamaha I have been using for 15 years is far superior to this. The key must be pushed in order for the forte to play.

There could have been a reverberation delay in the sound
4/5

You might just need to adjust your The sound volume has been complained about by many reviewers, but seems we were just unlucky as well, as all of a sudden the kids were saying that it was very quiet - I'm not sure what is the problem here - or perhaps we just got it wrong or something. The volume dial remained at its maximum setting even when it was pushed to the maximum. It is worth noting that I entered a negative review here on Amazon after trying every single button. But after reading the user manual, there are MANY adjustable settings on this keyboard! In fact, there are 88 settings altogether - what is amazing to me is all the options that are available! There is at least one volume adjustment for each key on the keyboard! If you look closely at the Advanced Setting, you will find multiple adjustments. Those must have been accidentally set to low by the kids. In addition to the above, I went through the following steps In spite of the volume setting issues, the keyboard is once again very nice!

I rate the keyboard as 4 stars because overall it is very good, but the advanced settings can be.

Starting at 88 is a great start 6 MONTH UPDATE THE KEY PIANO IS NOW READY FOR SALE! This piano has now been in my possession for over a year and I couldn't be happier with it
5/5

You would give a child a starter piano as a gift to help them get It's both great in terms of sound quality and volume. The only issue I've had so far is that the keys are not as well weighted as they should be, but for the price, I can easily overlook that. The volume is too quiet, and several reviewers have returned the piano because it was too quiet. This is most certainly Alesis' fault because these pianos are so loud and they don't sound good. I looked into the Piano and discovered that it had five volume levels, including
1. As a default, the Factory settings are not configured to the loudest level. 3.
When younger kids play with the keys, it is very easy to set the volume to the lowest level unknowingly (because there is an Advanced Functions mode that they enter inadvertently/pressing the middle C (the most frequently used key) puts the piano in that mode). (

Here are the steps you need to take to get the piano's loudest volume. (
1) Turn up the speaker volume. When you press Metronome and Lesson for a moment, you will see the Advanced Functions tab appear. You should be able to see the two keys. 3.
Once you have pressed the E3 key, release it. There will be no instrument played when this option is selected (it will make click sounds). 1. 2. 3. For advanced functions to exit, press the metronome and lesson keys at the same time. 4 *br Make sure the volume on your piano is set to the highest level. Before returning your Alesis, please try these steps. It is a cool little instrument, although it does not produce the best sound. This is what I found when I was looking for a good piano for my 5 year old daughter to practice at home as she has just started piano I also placed the Yamaha P71 ($399) and the Casio Previa PX 160 ($499) on my short list. After reviewing the reviews and especially looking at the price, we decided to go with the Alesis since, in comparison, it was less than half the price As she gains some proficiency at playing the piano and continues to be interested in learning it, I thought we could upgrade to a better piano. I could not be happier with the piano I got after getting it. The things I enjoyed the most were The piano sounds good, especially the sound of the strings. A semi-decent grade With weighted keys, you will feel and hear the volume in a good way. 1. 2. 3. 4. Easily carries around
4. Very light and easy to transport
5. An AC adapter is included. 5 * v. *br In addition to this, the price for a complete 88-hour stay is quite high There are three keys on the piano. This is a deal you can't beat. There are several things that I think can be improved The volume of the data A good level of sound can be obtained by keeping the volume control at 75% to 80% of the maximum setting. 3.
The instrument has a lot of customizable features, such as Tempo, Metronome, Metronome Volume, etc, the only problem is that you can only access them via a piano key combination. This is very difficult for me to remember, and I continually need to turn to the user manual.

This is one of the best pianos ever! The Alesis Recital 88 Key Beginner Digital Piano I purchased on March 6th 2018 cost me $250
5/5

It would be great to use at my retirement home concerts as I am a professional pianist! This is awesome, I can't believe I'm saying this. . . The sound is excellent. It normally does not bother me to write a review, but I am so happy with this piano! This piano is, according to my knowledge, the lightest available on the market. I have a Yamaha Piaggero piano, which I also own, in this category and it's not tinny sounding.
I am a Yamaha fan. Compared to the last Recital, this is much better! It has 88 keys as well! In the over 150 hours that I have played this piano, I haven't had ANY problems with it. I just love The fact that I would be lost without it in the event of anything happening to this amazing piano has led me to order another one! My recommendation for it is a definite yes! It is true that certain keyboards with a higher price and greater weight might sound better, but if you're looking at this range of price or need portability, this is the keyboard to choose! Despite its great sound when played with the built-in speakers, it sounds even better when I plug it into my Roland cube monitor when playing bigger venues! In my opinion, I would probably use my Yamaha P---- if I were to play at a large church instead of this This is a 15 since the keys are weighted better than this one being semi-weighted. However, it still plays wonderfully and has a great touch as well! There was no problem fitting the gig bag into my 76 keyboard It hasn't happened to me yet that the volume is going down, as the reviews claim! If you have negative reviews, DO NOT let that keep you from trying this keyboard!

I am more than happy As much as I would like to give 100 stars! In particular, at the price of $209, it is a great deal. You will love the sound and weight of 99! There is only one suggestion for Alesis, and that is to make a longer power cord, but I just bought a 3 ft extension cord and it works perfectly!.
