Questions & Answers

Can you tell me where this guitar is ?

IYV, inyen vina, makes guitars for many companies such as Harley Benton of Germany or Wolf Guitars of California, they are actually widespread but sell a few house brands on here, they also offer custom builds, but you have to research online for business information.

Do you know where I can get hold of one of these guitars and how they sound?

A set up with 10 or 11 gauge strings would work well with this guitar. It plays very easily and fast. The only way to test one out is to order one, unless your local music shop has used ones for sale.

Do you plan to offer this guitar in any other colors besides ?

More colors are not appearing to be available, as far as I can tell. The Wolf guitars (made in South Korea) have LP guitars in a variety of shades if you are willing to spend more money. Despite receiving high marks, they will set you back $400 or more. I believe it was about 00.

The fretboard is made out of what kind of wood?

There is a fretboard made of an Asian hardwood that looks like

This is the most honest review I've seen so far
3/5

Here is what you need to know The value is good at the price, but we shouldn't confuse top quality with value. In essence, the following statement is true The price is reasonable for the quality - There's some quality here, although don't be convinced by the reviewers who say that it's as good as $1,000 guitars in terms of fit and finish. Let's do it! The truth is far from the truth. If you hear someone say something like this about ANY guitar under $500, they don't have a clue what actually "quality" is, and you should be suspicious of anything they say further. There are a few spots where paint is bleed into the binding on the LP, but it's a decent LP with a really nice finish, but there is staining and paint bleed throughout the vinyl. I actually DID enjoy playing this game and it tonated well for what I paid, and the action was great right away. There is a similarity between the guitar and Epiphone quality, but in truth, it is not even close. Having low-resolution tuners can cause problems There are a number of areas that will benefit from the A surprise to me is the roughness of the pickguard. The shape is somewhat strange, and it's somewhat rough to the touch This is a low-forming, formed word The following grades of plastic are available An Epiphone substitute was used in place of mine. Although the pickups are somewhat meh, they're okay, and the electronics are in line with what you'd expect from This guitar has an excellent plastic nut, and the frets are good. The pickup sounds good, too. There has already been some loss of lettering on the selector switch- I thought it would take more than a few weeks to rub off. The good news is that all of these parts can be upgraded with Epi, or even with Gibson parts, if you choose The most important thing you should know is that if you take off the control cavity cover, you'll reach the conclusion that the guitar is basically a semi-professional instrument It's nothing but junk in a hollow body The wood is wood, no matter what it's claimed to be. As you can see through the control cavity, there is a gap between the top veneer and the thick board which runs through the middle of the guitar, constituting its body mass. I have no idea where they have actually found the significant weight of this thing. Take a look at the (Has anyone discovered something like the heavy metal sustain bar that Ibanez sometimes used? After I replaced the output jack, one of the screws from the jack plate just snapped off inside the body with normal pressure on it. In addition, removing and repairing the hole that was needed to do so was a frustrating process, leaving a blemish underneath the replacement Sheesh, that's bad. Even so, the guitar is worth what you pay, and the album copy is a nice affordable replica that does not claim to be the real thing, unlike some common fakes. In terms of design, the headstock and especially the logo are attractive and distinct. The cutaway horn is sharper than an Epi or Gibson, which cements the guitar's "derivative" status and allows it to avoid litigation. You can't beat this price for an attractive guitar if you're getting your first guitar, or if you just want something to stick on the stand in the living room and plunk away at as you watch TV. Be realistic and understand that this will never be "as good or better than a thousand dollar Gibson", so be sure to set realistic.

I've got a review of this guitar in the works. In the end, I bought this guitar due to its appearance, and at the prices it was offered, I didn't have any choice. It was about the quality of the guitar for a guitar made in Vietnam by a Korean company that I wasn't sure it would be. I loved it the minute I got it tuned up and hooked up, but I had a hard time letting go once I had it set into place. The pros are ** - This guitar is a total joy to play. The neck is fantastic. It plays better than most Gibson guitars I've ever played, and better than pretty much every Epiphone I've ever owned
- was set up perfectly, intonation was perfect - I was very impressed! I like the sound. The stock pickups sound good and are hot. The music stayed in tune once more after "wailing on it for over an hour" - Pictures do not capture the beauty of the guitar, its finish is stunning and the headstock looks cool, but the guitar looks amazing to me. It's not uncommon for inexpensive guitars to have bland looks to their headstocks, but this one strikes me as exceptionally A guitar of this quality seems to be quite expensive. *** * * Although some reviewers claim the guitar is heavy, I feel that it's just right, it's not heavy at all. The material feels solid to the touch. I are of the opinion that

CONS none

THE This guitar looks amazing, and it plays like a dream. Not to mention the sound is On the basis of how it sounds and feels, if I were blindfolded and given this guitar, I would guess it was a Les Paul guitar valued at $1200 or more. you are getting a really good deal for $189. It will be a great experience for you if you're on the fence about it. I'm a 25+ year guitar player and I am convinced it will be. Note *(NOTE As advertised on the product description, the guitar is an "IYV" rather than an "IVY".

Right out of the box, everything is set up perfectly

On Amazon, the guitar is listed as being manufactured by IVY, not IYV. Manufacturing is located in Vietnam for the Korean company IYV. This guitar has a 3-piece mahogany body, 2 pieces of maple neck, and a full 1/2" maple flange. Essentially, it is a guitar with a set neck. I am very pleased with the fit and workmanship of this instrument. It's really well written and well presented. of the guitar is made of laminated 3-piece mahogany, and the neck consists of laminated 3-piece mahogany with a scarf joint at the neck, Its construction method is the same as that found on Epiphone Les Pauls imported from the U. S. I mentioned that the design and construction of the building In addition to paint imperfections, there were only minor flaws. It seems that there were 4 small, light spots in the paint under the clearcoat, approximately the size of a pencil eraser. A small fingerprint was found under the clear coat in the green paint. Flame maple looks stunning, it has an excellent shade of green. Like the current reissue of the 1957 Gibson Les Paul in green, it has that slick vintage look. I received one with an inlaid head stock and logo made from abalone, but the picture on Amazon displays one with a white pearl. I'll keep the one with the abalone, it looks gorgeous! My expectations for a guitar at this price point were low, I figured it would be rough and need a lot of setup and The problem was that I was mistaken. I knew it would be great right out of the box, and it was. There was a string height of 2 mm above the fret at the 12th I had a perfect set of frets, similar to what you would find on an After I cleaned out the nut slots, and lubed the slots with graphite, stretched the strings for 20 minutes, tuned it and started playing, the only thing I did was tune it. All notes I played on the fret board sounded clean and pure with no buzz or rattle. After an hour, the tune is still in There's a lot of power and heat around the pups. When the neck and arms are involved Put the bridge pup on, and roll the tone back. The tone of the killer woman is on. When the tone is turned up and the neck pup is in place, it is a metal shredding machine. The tuners are excellent. In the same league as a $600 guitar, this guitar is easily one of the best. You can spend between $100 and It's tough to choose between most of the 00 Les Paul style import models. Over the course of my life, I have played guitar for more than When I bought my Fender Telecaster Custom in 1972, I had no idea what to expect. Having played it ever since, I continue to do so. In the past, I have been fascinated by the sound of a Les Paul style guitar, especially the ILS-86 guitar What I am looking for in 300 is delivered in 300. In all, I paid under $200 for this guitar to be delivered to my house. I think it is a great If I had the opportunity to buy this brand again, I would not hesitate. It is for 200 people. If you want to buy it, go ahead and buy it, it's Amazon so you can always send it back, but my guess is.
