Questions & Answers

Thanks for taking a look! I believe the original HM had dimarzio humbuckers and fender lace coil pickups. Do we know anything about these pickups?

The pick-up is on the neck A single from the Heavy Metal genre This coil is located in the middle of the pickup Rock Single with Heavy Metal - Pick up coils on bridges An extremely heavy metal humbucker

What is the American version of this?

Like the originals, these are made in Japan. It is not available in the United States.

What is its place of manufacture?

The Japanese

Despite the pink product name and yellow image, the name is pink. Would you mind telling me which ?

Hi, it looks like Amazon is responsible for the problem. Checked the part numbers in the listing for the Fender portal, and the pink one is the part number. A mistake has been made in the picture. On the yellow one, the same thing applies. Although Fender's part number is the same as the yellow guitar, the picture on Amazon shows a pink guitar. I would like to extend my kind regards to Troy

This is such a great idea! This guitar has a good build and a good quality
5/5

With the 25, I was able to use my smaller fingers comfortably. This is a scale of 1 inch. If you can still get one, get one.

The quality of this product is excellent
5/5

It is amazing how well the materials and fit to finish are integrated, like a fine knife that just fits in your hand. I like the instrument to body fit, the playability, and how it stays in tune despite whammy manipulations.

I miss what I used to do The price is a bit high
5/5

A few trade-ins are necessary I hate them. Now allow me to tell you what it costs. $1200. It cost $800 to purchase the original HM. The comparison I did through Google shows that the comparable price now would be just over $1,500 when compared to 1990, when I purchased my original HM. Therefore, it is not a horrible price for a modern $1200. As another point to consider, the original HM models came with very nice hard There is a deluxe gig bag that comes with this guitar. The case is missing, but the video is comparable to the cheaper model. These new HMs seem to have been cut in a few places. An amazing amount of craftsmanship has gone into this piece. I have closely examined the guitar with everything except a microscope and it is as perfect as any guitar I have ever seen. I'm literally in awe. small comfort corners and angles on the back of my original HM are there on the new guitar as well, but they're slightly less pronounced, which means there are very little differences. For you to tell the difference, you have to compare them side by side and really look at them. Floyd Rose is the cheapest tubing on the market, and this really disappoints Fender. Please forgive me, but for a better Floyd Rose I would have been willing to pay just a little more. The tremolo on my original HM came from Kahler Spyder, licensed through Floyd Rose, and it has been The original HM I am using has also a TBX tone control. Fender did not include this on the new HM for whatever reason. How did Fender become so popular? You can buy them on Reverb for $14. The information has already been provided on the site, so I dont know why it hasnt been included. Although I'm not certain how many HMs come with the TBX, I would guess most do. That is what my laptop does, and it is On our old HM's, the neck is like the fast neck that we are using now. As with my original HM, I have a Rosewood neck on my new HM as well. You did an amazing job with it. To me, the HM guitar has always been portrayed as a one trick pony kind of instrument in terms of its tone Heavy metal is a type of music. There seems to be an amazing tone to the new HM. With Ableton Live and use of digital effects, amp modeling and other things, I switch back and forth between effect pedals and the software. Currently I am playing through a 100-watt Hughes amp with a subwoofer Mr. Kemptner. It doesn't matter whether I use my Boss overdrive pedal or the onboard H&R pedal This humbucker sounds amazing when distorted, or even modeled. The lower register power chords are amazing and so is the chunkiness. Using chorus, delays or reverbs on single coil pickups, combined with slight distortion, you can get a very pleasing sound reminiscent of U2's Edge, or even of today's modern worship guitar, depending on your taste. My new HM H/S/S pickup arrangement provides me with 7 sound options over the single coil pickup, so I can play around with them all. There are lots of original HM's that already had this arrangement, but mine has a straight over/under My original (rare American) HM came with a Fender Lace single coil pickup for the neck and a Dimarzio Super 3 Humbucker, while the Japanese HM's came with the Dimarzio Super Distortion and stock Fender single coil pickups. We won't know how these new pickups are made unless Fender tells us. There are no markings underneath or on top of these pickups that tell us this. HM Strat Humbucker and HM Strat Single Coil are simply referred to as these new pickups. Whatever the case may be, that is a really hot humbucker. It's a good thing the company released one update that I I have a simple screw-on tremolo bar on my original HM. The more tightly you wind it, the less likely it will stay where you want it to. Because my old HM is 30 years old, this has happened to me a few times. Living with it is a matter of getting used to A new tension nut is used on the tremolo bar on the new HM. It is possible to place this bar across the table in any position you want, or leave it loose to A newer tremolo like this I appreciate a lot. Although some of the features, such as the Floyd Rose and TBX Tone Control, are missing, it remains an incredible Due to the virus lockdown, I showed pictures to my guitar friends, and they are eager to try it out as soon as possible. My family and I consider ourselves fortunate to have been able to buy this and would buy it again in a heartbeat if we had the discretionary funds. To me, guitarists would be perfect gifts, and so I would gift them all a guitar if I had the money. Every HM fan can attest to the fact that it's not a one trick pony. FYI, the white HM was my choice. As I mentioned before (sorry Fender), I wasn't a big fan of the more garish colors on the old HMs, and I think the new generation is no different. While I have never considered buying a white guitar before, it was the least offensive color to me. White has always been my favorite color. I enjoy its sharpness and calmness. Almost like a white guitar angel, this one. If you're a fan of the original HM, sold yours, or just want another one, as I do, you can't go wrong with this one. It's no secret that I'm an avid Hearts & Hammers fan, but I'm also capable of being unbiased, and this guitar is awesome. It may not be a John Petrucci signature Musicman, but for the price, it is a pretty good instrument. As a Fender guy, I can't imagine going anywhere else. For as long as I can remember, I'll always be a Fender fan. The Fender brand deserves a big thank-you for bringing back this nostalgic blast from the past.
