This one does not have a strap.
It's laminated, but for the price, it's a good guitar.
Steel strings should not be used on this guitar. This guitar would be destroyed over time if the strings were still under tension, but it sounds fantastic with nylon strings.

I've been playing electric for over a decade and have wanted to try out a nylon for a while but didn't want to spend nearly as much as I have on my electric setup. It was well worth the expense. For $120, it appears to be a great deal. It's also of good quality. I bought it with my daughter's future in mind, so that when she's a little older, she can learn on the smaller size while I continue to play with my full-size Alvarez. It's a very simple action, and for those who complain that it doesn't stay in tune, that's due to the nature of nylon strings. And, to be honest, after hours of play, it only goes slightly flat. It sounds great in alternative tunings; I've dropped C tuning and it sounds just as good as E standard and everything in between.
My son's guitar teacher praised the brand, saying, "Everything Yamaha makes is great. " " It's simple to tune, and once the nylon strings have stretched out, it'll stay in tune for a long time. Nylon strings are much kinder to little fingers, and the guitar is quieter than steel strings. I bought one for a 7-year-old and one for a 9-year-old, both of whom are large for their age - When it comes to the guitar, it appears that it is better to err on the side of caution when starting out.
It's a good buy for the money! It's been 50 years since I played the guitar. This is exactly what I'm looking for. br>As a side note, the fretboard edge is a little rough (smooth it out a little more), and the fifth string goes out of tune every 5 or so songs. However, these are minor flaws; overall, a five-star half-guitar!.
I must confess that I bought it for my son but ended up using it as a practice guitar - Excellent sound and action - product of high quality.
This is an excellent little instrument. It achieves the ideal balance of quality and cost. I've owned a lot of guitars, and some that are a lot more expensive than this one don't stay in tune as well. It's the perfect size for my 9-year-old to learn on, and it's a real instrument, not a toy, so it's a great guitar to start with. The service was prompt, and despite the fact that I had routed it to an old address, the seller was willing to send a note to that address informing them of the error. shipment. Even though the error was my fault, they provided excellent customer service.
I like this guitar a lot. My seven-year-old daughter loves it, so we bought it for her. It's the ideal size, has a lovely sound, and is well constructed.
It was purchased as a present for a 5-year-old.
It hasn't been long, but I'm pleasantly surprised by how well this young man sounds. I bought it for my niece and nephew to share, but I couldn't resist playing with it for a while. It sounds fantastic, and I'm pleasantly surprised.
