Questions & Answers

What is the width of the nut?

The GA3 guitar has a 52mm nut width.

Is this a full-size guitar, or a scaled-down version?

Yes, that is correct. From the bottom of the box to the peak at the top, the height is approximately 39 inches. A strap cannot be attached because there is no peg.

Is this a Spanish or a Chinese product?

It's a Chinese product.

Is there a button on the shoulder strap?

It does not, as it is a more traditional model, and a strap button would detract from the aesthetics and sound.

CLASSICAL guitar is a great little instrument
5/5

This is fantastic. This review is being written for a variety of reasons. br>br>For starters, there are currently only a few reviews. Furthermore, because the reviews aren't very specific, my decision to buy this guitar was more of a leap of faith based on the brand. br>br>I was debating between this and a Yamaha acoustic of comparable price, as I've previously owned a Yamaha acoustic that I loved. I believe this Ibanez classical guitar is superior to the Yamaha classical guitar based on reviews. To begin with, it has a truss rod. The Yamaha, it appears, will not be one of them. For someone who KNOWS how to adjust one, this is extremely useful. It will keep the game playable for a long time. br>br>Also, rather than the red shown, the head came in a lovely brown color. This made me happy, as well. br>br>Ibanez is known for its low action and "fast necks. " That is, without a doubt, the case with this guitar. I don't think I'll make any changes to the action. It sounds great and, unless you play very hard, there is no fret buzz, and it's a lot easier to play than my Fender acoustic. Even the strings that came with it are fantastic. If you don't believe that, you might not be the guitarist you believe you are. Sweeps and arpeggios are simple to learn. Barre chords are a breeze to learn. It's simple to use the scales. br>br>The neck is wide, as it should be on a classical guitar. The guitar is extremely light. br>br> Until you play it, it almost appears to be a toy. br>br>Overall, I believe this guitar is a good buy. I'd buy it again, and I'd tell others about it.

This is a fantastic beginner guitar
4/5

However, there are a few minor flaws in the appearance. This classical guitar is a fantastic place to start if you're new to the genre. It played quite nicely right out of the box after a quick tuning. The action was already comfortable for me, the neck was straight (it does have a truss rod, but I didn't need to adjust it), and even the intonation was pretty good (though not perfect; my g was slightly off). I believe the "playability" quality is unbeatable for the price. The cosmetic finish, on the other hand, isn't quite up to par. First and foremost, the head is not red as depicted in the photos. The red head in the photo, I believe, is simply an artifact of the lighting angle at the time the photo was taken. It's just a regular brown head, as you'd expect, but the finish has a lot of minor flaws that reveal that this is a "budget" guitar. The bridge, nut, and saddle were all heavily scuffed (as if they were rejected parts that couldn't be used on nicer instruments), and the polish has a few minor blemishes. Even the dot inlays along the side of the neck have a few blemishes where the hole wasn't drilled perfectly and then filled with epoxy or filler. I counted around 20 of these minor cosmetic flaws, all of which are minor, and the guitar still appears to be in good condition at first glance. These are only discovered after a closer look. Some of these flaws are to be expected at this price point (although 20 blemishes was a bit excessive), but playability is the most important metric, and this guitar plays great right out of the box. Other reviewers have mentioned the lack of dot inlays in the fingerboard, or the lack of a way to mount a strap, etc. I'd just like to remind them that this is a true classical guitar, and those features aren't supposed to be present on a classical guitar. For actual playability, I give it a five-star rating. for- the- Because of the numerous cosmetic flaws, I deducted one star.

It'll be a hit with you, and the price is very reasonable
5/5

This is a replacement for a Yamaha C40 that I had for a long time and messed up by attempting to add electronics to. The Ibanez model is exquisitely crafted. The strings were not the best, sounding very tinny. As a result, I replaced them with BellaTone model strings, and the guitar now sounds fantastic. On the top of your head, make a mental note: I received a lovely dark brown instead of the red shown in the picture. That was a pleasant surprise, as the red in the photo did not appeal to me. For the past 40 years, I've been a mediocre player, and this guitar is ideal for my limited skills.

Years ago, I owned a full-size classical guitar with nylon strings, which I lost in a fire
5/5

It was simple to tune and stayed in tune for a long time. It had a rich, full tone to it. I was never a particularly skilled musician, but I had a good ear and could play wind instruments fairly well. It's been difficult to find a comparable quality guitar at a reasonable price. This one was a perfect match. It has a pleasant sound and is strikingly similar to one I had years ago. I've forgotten the majority of the chords and will have to relearn how to play it. The wide neck and frets may be a little more challenging for most beginners, but they were exactly what I needed because I have large fingers. Overall, I think this guitar is a fantastic value for the price, and I'll wait until I get back into playing better before deciding whether or not I need to change the strings; they're fine for practice. If you're an adult looking for a cheap guitar to play for fun, regardless of your skill level, I highly recommend this one.

Another fantastic value at an even better price! I occasionally strike it rich and score fantastic items for a pittance - It was one of those times when I decided to buy a guitar
5/5

It has a lovely tone, and the action can be adjusted so that it plays and sounds fantastic! I did replace the strings with (much) better ones than the ones that came with it - This guitar sounds fantastic thanks to the Oasis GPX normal tension full set strings. Despite the fact that I'm a steel-head, I'm enchanted by the sound. Guitarist who specializes in both acoustic and electric stringed instruments. This guitar is one that I would buy again!.
