Because there is no place to put a guitar strap, I deducted a star. And I don't recall seeing anything about it in the description. Having said that, it appears to be fantastic. I bought this guitar because it's attractive and affordable, and I needed a guitar to play around the campfire. It also comes with a good-quality case. This is something I would like to do.

My husband, who is recovering from cancer surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy, found this guitar to be ideal. He wanted to pick up his guitar again, but he needed something lighter. He lowered the strings, added a bone saddle, and what he refers to as a tap plate to make this one perfect. He's learning Flamenco on it and he's having a lot of fun with it. He's had a lot of fun with this guitar. The tone is fantastic, and he has no trouble playing it. This was an excellent investment.

Plays well and sounds great; frets are a little sharp on the edges and will need to be filed down; otherwise, I'm very pleased with the guitar.

We now have two guitars in our family, thanks to the addition of this Cordoba Protégé C1 Matiz Classical Guitar. The grandkids picked the Classic Blue with Nylon Gig Bag and Carry Straps because it's "really nice," and we went with nylon strings because of their sensitive fingers. Everyone, on the other hand, is happy with the decision. This is a light-hearted piece. The differences in sound between this guitar and our steel string guitar are both subtle and obvious.

The only criticism I have is that the packaging could be padded a little more. The guitar is packaged in a fitted retail box and comes with a nylon case. This is fine, but the empty space around the top of the guitar should be padded, or the retail box will be easily crushed or bent. br>br>The guitar itself is fantastic, especially for the price, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beginner guitar. This was purchased as a gift for a student in my class. I bought the guitar for my middle schooler for music class, and I really like how light it is for its durability. For beginners, this is a simple guitar to learn on. This guitar is also suitable for more experienced musicians, but it is ideal for our needs.

I wish I had the ability to give this a 5-star rating. I gave it a star because there are so many things about this little guitar that I adore. The audio, visuals, and overall package are all top-notch. br>br>However, the model I received required filing down every fretbar. This appears to be an oversight, given Cordoba's reputation for producing incredible instruments, but it's a terrible oversight. When you try to play this game, you'll cut your hand open. And no, I'm not exaggerating when I say that these are fairly sharp metal pieces hanging from the side of the neck that you'll be moving your hands across. I priced a fret file in a few shops here in town, but it would be 30% of the cost of the guitar for me to get that work done. br>br>After that, there's the neck. I prefer unfinished necks, but this one was still covered in sawdust when I received it. It's still gritty, and there's some kind of powder or compound on the neck that burns and dries out my fret hand. br>br>This doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the guitar, but it does feel like evidence that it didn't get an inspection, because an inspector would have caught these issues.

This guitar is fantastic. It also comes with a handy little tool kit. This was purchased as a gift for my husband-- It appeals to him, and he enjoys it. It's simple to tune, and the color (blue) is stunning. Definitely a head turner. It's a big hit with him. It; It's a lovely little instrument.
