Córdoba is the place to go. They have excellent customer service, and the guitar comes with a three-year warranty. If you require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me. Calido Guitars is a brand of guitars made by Calido
It will need tuning and the strings will need to stretch and settle in (this will take about a week), but it is otherwise ready to play. I tweaked my truss rod to suit my tastes, but only do so if you understand how it works; otherwise, you risk damaging your guitar.
All of the wood in the C9 parlor is solid, with a cedar top and mahogany trim. The top of the Dolce is made of solid cedar, with laminate mahogany on the back and sides. Daniel br>Calido Guitars br>Thank you,br>Calido Guitars br>Calido Guitars br>Calido Guitars br>Calido Guitars br>
That isn't normal, in my opinion. The top appears to be crooked. I'd contact the manufacturer to see if it's covered by a warranty.

I'd been thinking about this little 7/8 Cordoba for about 6 months, as I was starting to practice more fingerstyle/classical and getting tired of beating up my fingers on steel strings. She arrived yesterday, and she is such a lovely addition to the stable! First and foremost, I ordered it from Calido Guitars via Amazon, and I believe this made a significant difference. Because the guitar is perfectly in the zone of 4mm for the low E and 3mm for the high E at the 12th fret, it was obviously checked over in the shop, brought up to tune, and string height checked and adjusted. This morning, I checked intonation, and it's almost perfect; however, I adore my local luthier, who is a master, but he also charges $100. For a setup, you'll need to pay $0. 00. Calido, I estimate, helped me save $100. The fact that a knowledgeable shop took the time to unpack, inspect, adjust, and tune the instrument before sending it to me is worthy of praise. It has a beautiful finish and is extremely comfortable to play. It has a big sound for a 7/8 size guitar. The fret ends are as smooth as those on my far more expensive guitars, the tuners work flawlessly, and the wood and lacquer are beautiful. I'll tinker with the strings a little because I'd like to bring out a little more treble in the mix, but the overall tone is very nice. As with any Chinese made instrument, and an online order, make sure to check over the essentials AND the details before making it a "keeper," but I must say I am truly impressed.
The Cordoba Dolce guitar is a fantastic little instrument. It's the only nylon-based fabric that's widely available. Stringed classical guitar with a 630mm scale length (as opposed to the "standard" 650mm), and a 2 in. nut width, made from high-quality woods and hardware It appealed to me because of how simple it is to play and how beautiful it is to look at. br>I've been playing guitar for over 30 years, and my fingers are starting to get a little creaky, so this guitar allows me to play more difficult pieces with less pain. This guitar is ideal for older players with arthritis, players with smaller hands, or anyone who simply wants a nice small-scale guitar. Playability, loudness, and tone are all sacrificed to a lesser extent on this body guitar.
My hands and fingers have suffered from various nerve and arthritis conditions over the years, limiting my ability to practice and play classical guitar. So finding something that is less taxing on my hands is extremely important to me. For those four years, I had a standard Cordoba c5, which I thoroughly enjoyed playing when I was able. As a result, I reasoned that a smaller scale finger board might suffice. The small reduction in nut size (52mm to 50mm) and scale length (650mm to 630mm) works well for my hands, which is a pleasant surprise. I'd tried 48mm crossover guitars before, but the string spacing never felt quite right, so I went with 50mm at the nut and a thin Cordoba neck. Without much difficulty or pain, I can play for about an hour. br>br>Now, the guitar itself is a work of art; it's beautifully finished and balanced to play, as are most Cordobas. For a small guitar, the tone is excellent. The sound is very consistent across all strings, which is nice, and the Saverz strings have a warm sound. When played with normal tension strings, the C5 has a bit more 'Bassey' sound with clear trebles. In comparison, the Dolce has a similar tone and good sustain for this level of guitar. In all body measurements, the Dolce is about 5mm smaller, and it feels smaller. However, this is in a positive light. br>br>I expect the sound to shift slightly when I switch to lower tension strings; I usually use low tension basses and normal tension trebles (like Augustine Blacks). br>br>In a small package, this is a pleasant surprise.
I had my Swedish Espana for 40 years, but I hadn't played it in a long time when it was stolen, so I didn't replace it for a long time. It was slightly smaller than a full-sized guitar, but I'm not sure how much smaller, and full-sized guitars always seemed large to me when I played them - As a result, I purchased Dolce & Gabbana. I'm very pleased with it, despite the fact that it appears to be a little small. A larger guitar, I believe, would have been preferable. The sound is rich and full. sweet, the wood is lovely, and the craftsmanship is superb. I'm particularly taken aback by the tuners' assembly - incredible! In comparison to my beloved Espana, this is far superior. One thing I'm curious about is how my arthritis would have fared on a larger fretboard. I had no idea how restricted my finger joints had become until recently. It's a difficult task. I believe a larger fretboard would be better for me because the tight bending of my fingers is the most difficult part for me - it isn't the extension I'd buy another Cordoba in a heartbeat because it's such a lovely instrument.
br>br>At first, I bought one from the Amazon warehouse- The body was warped and the bridge had cracks! Calido Guitars' Amazon shop was used to replace the one that was returned. They actually inspect and set up the guitar for free, ensuring that you get a high-quality instrument.
This is something that my wife really enjoys. Her petite build and hands are ideal for the 7/8 size. Cordoba is a city that values excellence. The brightness and tone of the image are both excellent. The sound will be improved by using higher-quality strings. My Cordoba baritone ukulele has withstood the test of time, having been frozen, played on a daily basis, and treated with care. I own some expensive guitars from the golden age of fine woods, but this little Cordoba is a joy to own and admire.
I liked the fact that Cordoba guitars had a truss rod, so I decided to try a 7/8, and this guitar was perfect. The Dolce I received had excellent craftsmanship and appeared to be well-made. However, even after lowering the strings to the maximum with the truss rod, the action was still extremely high at the 12th fret, making it impossible for me to play. To get the saddle to work, I had to sand it almost all the way down to the bottom, but it was still quite high. Unlike my Cadet, which was a lot more fun to play than this Dolce I got. I'll keep it for a while until it's time for me to move on to something better.
