Questions & Answers

Is this guitar entirely nylon stringed, or does it have three nylon and three steel strings? Is it true that for the same item, Rondo only lists nylon strings?

Steel would be wrapped around a softer material for the bottom three strings. For classical guitar, this is standard.

What is the width of the neck?

None of the 3/4-size classical guitars I've seen have the standard 2 inch wide Nut, in my experience. They'll range from one to a thousand dollars. 1 inch to a smaller 5/8 inch 1/8 of an inch br>The measurements of a guitar's Nut (neck) can be found on most manufacturers' web pages. I've played CGs with a nut width of less than 2 inches, but I believe that those sold as 7/8 size guitars are more likely to have a nut width of less than 2 inches, such as 1. 7/8. The best method is to contact the seller directly - Amazon is one of them. and ask them to take a measurement of your Nut (neck). br>Best of luck br>This seller, Rondo Music, used to sell a nice low-cost CG with the Montana label that I thought was a great instrument. Regrettably, they no longer sell them, opting instead for a lower-cost, lower-quality Omega model. Take a chance on a Montana CG if you can find one in the market. They're well-made and reasonably priced for a smaller-scale instrument under $125. Good Luck

Newbies don't understand how good the quality is for the money

They were of assistance! I'm glad I took the time to read through all of the reviews. People who are unfamiliar with guitars, particularly classical nylon string guitars, think it's terrible because they are unaware that nylon strings must be stretched out slightly to stay in tune. After only a week and a half of ownership, it began to stay in tune using the stretching method! That's a lot less time than manually tuning it every day. It takes about a month for that to happen. So don't be fooled into thinking it's defective just because it's cheap; most of the flaws are cosmetic, such as excess glue or minor chips. What about the actual guitar playing? Great! br>br>PS - If you are looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innovative I am an adult who purchased this game for my children, but I find myself playing it more than they do. I've struggled to learn to play my steel string full-scale guitar. For years, I've been playing a large guitar. With this size and nylon strings, I've gone further in a month than I have in the several years I've owned a large full-size guitar. guitar of a certain size If it helps, I'm 5' 9", so it's more about finger strength and ease of holding it than finger length. I played the viola for nine years, so I'm not a complete wimp, but I still struggle to bar chords on a full-size guitar. It's a lot less difficult now. It's something I wish I'd purchased years ago! It's a blessing to be a parent!.

Other cheap guitars never get it right, but this one did
5/5

For the past 18 years, I've been playing the guitar. This was purchased to teach my eight-year-old son how to play. I decided to take a chance on it in the hopes of getting a good deal. Let me tell you, this guitar is an incredible value for the money; most low-cost guitars all have the same flaw: As you play higher up on the neck, the notes' pitch becomes distorted. I was surprised to discover that this is not the case with this guitar, as I can play all the way up and down the fretboard without changing pitch. It's one of my favorite games to play. For a beginner, this is an excellent choice.

This is a fantastic guitar that we purchased for our 9-year-old son
5/5

This is a fantastic guitar that we purchased for our 9-year-old son to begin guitar lessons with. It's the perfect size and sound fantastic. They will stretch for a while, just like any new guitar or guitar strings, so you will have to tune it a lot at first, but they will eventually "settle" into place and you will not have to tune it as much. If you have a smartphone, there are a plethora of free guitar tuner apps available (I believe the one I use is called Guitar Tuna), which are extremely useful. The bag is convenient (it has a pocket on the front where he can keep his practice book) and adequately protects it while being transported to lessons. When we're at home, we use a wall hanger to keep it out of the way of the other kids, which works perfectly. I think this is a fantastic value and a fantastic beginner guitar, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a guitar for a younger player OR if you want a small throw-around guitar that you don't mind getting a little banged up in.

Noodling is a lot of fun
5/5

I'm not a kid or a beginner; I just wanted a small guitar to play while watching TV or something, and this has worked out perfectly; I'm not sure why, but regular-sized guitars are a little too bulky for the type of lazy playing I had in mind with this. I pick at it while watching TV or even walking to the kitchen. For this purpose, the price is excellent. I believe my approach to using a 3/4 guitar is underappreciated. Anyway, the strings were a little out of tune at first, but that went away after a while.

You get a lot of bang for your buck
5/5

It went above and beyond my expectations. I was looking for a cheap way to strum around the campfire with my guitar, and this one works perfectly. The only issue I had with it was when I removed the bridge from the bottom to lower the action because it was too high. All the way down the neck, it sounds great and is in tune. It's ideal for a beginner or someone who has been playing for a long time and simply wants a cheap guitar to play around on. For the price, you can't go wrong with this.

Excellent guitar for a beginner
4/5

I've been playing guitar for 14 years and can attest to the fact that this is an excellent instrument for beginners. Unlike the majority of budget beginner guitars, all frets can be played without buzz or silence. Even though it is on the small side, an adult can easily play it. This guitar also has a nice warm twang to it, and I would definitely recommend it to beginners!.

Very well done
5/5

This is a good place to start for a beginner. It appeals to me greatly. I am a small adult woman, and I have no trouble dealing with this. The sound is good, and the quality is good for the price. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because I used to own a Gibson Hummingbird, but that's apples and oranges in this case. I'm looking forward to honing my classical skills, but I don't anticipate needing a more expensive guitar in the near future.
